@@gila2753 Honestly i don´t understand it very well too but i belive that she released the album (or started) in the end of 2014 and the only thing i´m sure is that Shake it off was the first single, release in 2014 and the mv for blank space, and many others were already in 2015. I think that´s why 1989 won AOTY in 2016 grammys and not in 2015. About the other thing, idk if it is possible but i don´t think so bc if she had two possible songs they would pick the better one and is the same if the worse was there or not

I don’t understand why folklore songs were nominated in the pop category. I think its part of the reason they didn’t win. Pop voters are gonna vote for the more pop style songs/album. Also why it didn’t win pop album but did win album of the year, beating the album that took best pop.

@@HeatherLynseyMusic they're voted for by the academy. Every member votes for record, song, album and artist but the individual categories for pop, country etc are only voted for by people with expertise in that field. So experienced pop music industry members vote for the pop categories.

I remember buying Folklore when it came out. I listened to it so much...Then time's gone by and I've been to the Eras concert, been obsessed with Carolina AND Midnights (such different vibes). I have also listened to some of Lover a ton more just because of the tour. But hearing Folklore again for just a moment on this video reminded of what an INCREDIBLE album it is. The sound of it alone is mesmerizing. I think she totally deserved the win for that one.

I still can't understand Reputation, Lover didn't get Grammys? Like yeah the other albums were good..... but as good as those two? Like seriously!!! Okay Reputation probably didn't get a grammy because of the Drama Taylor made against the industry, and Lover was the aftermath only a nomination.

I still can't understand Reputation, Lover didn't get Grammys? Like yeah the other albums were good..... but as good as those two? Like seriously!!! Okay Reputation probably didn't get a grammy because of the Drama Taylor made against the industry, and Lover was the aftermath only a nomination.
