Would it be in appropriate to put “no wonder she’s so sore” on a shirt ??😂😂
Someone said that about my ex girlfriend after he saw me in the showers 😂😂😂, no not that, I'd slipped and fell on her.
I need one too😅😅😅😅
😂😂😂😂
No
Brilliant! 😂
Brother, the reason I keep watching your channel is because you don’t shy away from admitting mistakes. You turn those mistakes into teachable moments. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Graeme for helping this lovely girl, for showing her face, and for not editing out your silly vocal mistakes.
I also love that he doesn't edit out silly mistakes. It makes Graeme so much more relatable. 💜
Those mistakes makes his videos more relatable. And kind of why I like his videos over some others. Even though I'm 100% sure I'll never trim a hoof in my life
A true artist suffers in his work: translation- standing in the pouring rain getting soaking work to help a poor cow from having pain. Thank you, your work always amazes me, thought that bull connected with you, so lucky he missed. Take care, from Australia 🇦🇺 😊😊👍❤️
She’s beautiful! Nice looking lady.
Graeme you made your own Hoof Grip Pro glue. ✅️ Now you need to come out with a crush that has pop up awnings & pull down screens for that sideways rain. 💚 🐄 🧡 🐂 💚
There are awnings that attach to a car that can be unfurled 270 degrees that are used for sunshade.
Very true.😂😂😂😂
What she sai, & a much better descriptor than I was! 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah and 100-200 gallons of pressurized water to clean hands and hoof😎
Did the farmer not want the crush in the barn?? That cow was grateful that you pwered through & fixed her foot. You all do good work. ❤ from Seattle
It's not always possible to get inside. Many farms have structures that could have been built a couple generations ago. Doors may not have the clearance, buildings/fences/gates may prevent backing, ramps may have too tight of turns, etc. It wasn't that long ago that the crush ended up on its side, and they've showed some pretty extreme backing to get to places.
@@lloydnsarahsheffer3802 All that's true but that looks like a modern metal pole barn, wide open with a concrete floor. Literally in the background you can see a huge open space where they could have parked the crush.
@BigWill63 I couldn't tell, but there might not have been any runs to guide the cows into the crush or back into the pens? I'm fairly sure they need those in order to get them from place to place. Just a guess though.
@lloydnsarahsheffer3802 Thanks! 👍🏼 There had to be a logical reason, of course, because I doubt that farmers often go out of their way to torment their cows or our favorite hoof trimmers. What was puzzling was that from the little we could see of the barn behind Graeme, it looked so spacious. And dry, And bright. And dry. And warm. And dry..... 🤗 Need I mention that I'm a CITY GIRL? 😁🙃 Thanks again for replying!
I'm wondering the same thing 🤔 Maybe it wasn't raining when they arrived and started 🤷♀️??
It's so crazy the different perspectives with weather. I love the rain, but as I watch you struggle with the wet and the wind, it makes me think. I live in Arizona where today it's breezy, 74 degrees and sunny. My horses are in the pasture grazing and relaxing in the shade of our elm trees. But, I am Scotish at heart, my family comes from there, and Ireland, it's in my blood. I love the way you care for these sweet girls. Thank you for caring.
You love the rain because you live in Arizona……….. sending you some love from Northern Ireland 😊
@amandarobinson42 you're so right! Thanks for sending the ❤️ love we can always use it!😍😍
I'm watching from sunny Arizona also! My family also comes from Scotland, Ireland and Wales. We've been across the pond a few times and the rain is a treat for us for sure. I do have to say the rain over there doesn't seem to beat you to a pulp like the rain in Arizona tends to! When it rains here it tries to kill you!
Monsoon is just around the corner, come on July, then we’ll feel sorry for you!
I thought Arizona would be scorching already! Glad you have a bit of cool before the HEAT.
No matter how successful you become and how far ranging your business interests it's so important you maintain focus on trimming and healing because that's why we're here.

As an American, I find Scotland absolutely lovely. Rainy weather is right up my alley ❤
I live on the southern coast of Oregon. You'd love it here then. It's exactly like that here. Right down to the gorse.
@@gaylebynumcardosa7034if it wasnt for the ridiculous politcs, I'd be there in a heartbeat.
Thanks Graeme and Craigie Boy for battling the rain and looking after this sore lass. ❤️🇦🇺🏴
Hello to one of most favorite (Scottish) people. Water and electrics is like taking a full bath with a hairdryer. Are you using a canopy to protect your working area? Better add a tarp on the side.
I don't get why he can't move the whole thing a couple of metres into the great big shed
So glad, it was just ordinary rain ☔ and not that WET rain you get down south 😉😜😎
It would be hard to work in a south Florida summer afternoon rain (a 2-3 hour torrential downpour with lightening).
I’m a southerner. I always call it lazy rain, because it goes through you, rather than round you! 😁
Lovely British weather. We’ve been having all four seasons in one day for the past week in Birmingham!
Birmingham had sun, rain, hail and wind today
Ditto that last week in Kentucky USA
Can confirm, Black Country weather has been Mad recently!
It's typical of Newfoundland too...no spring and yet to get to June-uary!
Love what you do... Surprised you don't keep a pop-up canopy handy for days like this. I work outdoors here in Washington State in the US and we have bad weather a lot of the time. The canopy comes in very handy when we need to use the table saw for bricks, as it's very important to keep it dry.
Graeme: Felt bad for you (and the cow) in the pouring rain. Is there some way you could find a tent manufacturer that makes the small tents that are used by artists, crafts people and food vendors in town fairs and outdoor markets? They're very easy and quick to put up if you had Craigie-boy or Kevin with you. Here in the U.S. we can get them in the big home supply stores like Home Depot or Lowes. You'd probably want a custom made tent for it to fit over the crush. Keep up the good work! ❤️ 🐄
That cow 🐄 was very happy you didn’t cancel 🩹
If you keep a roll of hockey stick tape in your tool box it’ll come in handy on rainy days. Wrap your tool handles with it and you will improve grip and tool control.
That’s a brilliant idea.
Getting to work with those sharp knives like a surgeon. I’ve been watching for a long time and can see how much you and the guys have gotten better with the knives and the grinder. I love your dedication guys.
Thank you for helping those cows, and that poor lady who was in obvious pain.
Yes, thank you and your team.🤗
Mr. Parker, after living in Texas for most of the last 20 years, I am literally moving to the northeast so I can enjoy MORE of that weather you hate so much. I mean the rain itself isn't so great, but it does knock down the dust, the dust, the DUST that takes so many of Texas's lovely sunny days and turns them into an allergy-ridden pile of wretched sadness. Trust me, you're better off with the wet stuff.
Grass is always greener on the other side. Lol
The thing I love the most about you and your crew is the way you genuinely care for these animals. It warms my heart ❤️. As a person who deals with severe pain every single day because I have lupus and RA I can tell you those beautiful babies appreciate everything you for for them. The smallest things can make a huge difference when you are in pain. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the kindness in yours ❤
Hello from ur neighbour in Wales. The weather has bin awful. Rain rain and more rain. But we still smile and get on with it. ❤❤
When I was in Edinburgh this past July, It was so bloody cold!! I don't think I've ever been so cold in my life LOL. Very sweet cow that. Glad you were able to sort her out.
East Scotland is dry and cold, west is warmer but wetter. Edinburgh always feels cold to me too, but it is as far north as Moscow!
You are such a good guy. I love your compassion for these innocent (well, most of them), sweet beasties.
You, Craig and Kev are a blessing to thesenpoor hurt cows. God bless the three of you. ❤❤❤
I’m so enamored by your work, Graem! Craigy boy not to leave you out, Graem could not be the trimmer that he is without you backing him up! Love and blessings boys!❤
Rain in Scotland? Really? Who would have guessed!
Aww bless her coos day cos it’s Tuesday you will work your magic Graeme 😊❤
Memories of building the first footbridge to Hales Castle, near Haddibgton. Sappers glowing like fireflies in the rain.
Looks like perfect, soft Scottish weather! Felt very relieved to see the cow walk away so easily. You had obviously done her proud!
We got our One Herd tshirts 🎉❤❤. So much fun to wear them!!!
I clicked on the video so fast! Saved me from a dull day in the office
You take such good care of your “patients,” ill and healthy. You make such a difference in their lives. Thank you for that and for teaching me so much! 😊
Won’t mess with water and electricity but will force Craig to make the coffee 😮
Well, at least you had the equivalent of a warm Scottish rain. Thanks for showing how the difficulty increases in things as wet conditions. Nice finish, walked off well.
Thank you so much for sharing this video. Your and Craig's dedication to the cows you service is admirable. I know not all hoove trimmers would have finished under those conditions. 🐄❤
down here in the states, along the gulf coast , we get hurricanes that often rips off the roof tiles and once the storm passes we need to put a blue tarp over the roof to keep the weather out until we can get the house repaired, you should have one of these in reserve, they come in MANY sizes, i suggest getting the biggest one you can find, it would cover the crush and the cow and your self as you work, you would need to have some poles to attach the tarp to but that shouldn't be too hard to get those, you can generally find them in home depot, you may need to special order them considering where you are. CORE TARPS-100 ft. x 100 ft.=30metersx30meters Blue 20 Mil Heavy Duty Polyethylene Tarp, Waterproof, UV Resistant, Rip and Tear Proof
I seem to remember your saying that all the rain is why Scotland is so beautiful. You're just getting some extra beauty! 😆💕🐮 Don't catch cold guys!
My hat is off to all at The HGP. ALL of you Scots Rock.
I’ve had to change my gloves multiple times while caring for a patient. I had a coworker tell me that if you use alcohol hand sanitizer you can get more time out of your glove wearing time. Thought you might find it helpful. Have a great day and try to stay dry! God bless. Can’t wait until I get my t-shirt!
I hope this poor feels better soon. Poor girl. You and your team/family be safe out there. If I could send ya this Arizona weather I would.
Dude for real your making me want a career in this. I'm a disabled retired veteran from the US army and I can barely bend over and you doing this job makes me want to stand up and go outside and get a grinder and some training!!!!!
The way u care for these creatures is heavenly
You have rain, we’re getting snow! Quite a bizarre spring. Have a safe trip. You’ve got such a strong work crew, it must feel nice to be able to get away for a few days, even if it’s to a conference. Nice job, even in the rain. ❤❤
Thank you for sharing this with us. Always interesting to watch your vlogs.
You should get awnings made for crush to keep the cattle and ye of course dry 😊😊
Not even being soggy can stop Hoof GP and Craigie Boy!
Love watching your videos. I don't have cattle but do have horses and used to work for a veterinarian. I just find this so interesting🥰
Thank you from The Netherlands
You could mount one or more overlanding awnings…maybe a 270 and another 180 degree…
EXCELLENT JOB, Graeme and Craigie Boy!! 🐄♥️🐄
Could you design a canopy over the crush, That will help protect in foul weather.
We spent three (lovely) weeks in Scotland last year. "Scottish rain" is definitely its own category. Although it has rained plenty here since we got back, there has only been two days that we would be able to describe as "Scottish". The rest just lacks the overwhelming constant attack from all directions that Scotland rain can achieve. Plus the absolutely gorgeous scenery to get soaked in....
85F/29.5C here today could use your rain. all the bright green spring sproutings getting thirsty 🌱
lol, it snowed last night and its still sticking to the trees and its 3pm. love rain too, last years fires were bad.
Great job, the more I see you working the more l want to see just love watching you ,thank you
Have you considered a pop-up gazebo with enclosed sides? It could be put up over the crush with two sides closed.
When I lived in the U.K. the weather people on TV were always right. "Partly cloudy chance of rain" LOLOL
Man, I would lose my mind in that soggy weather. I am from Tucson, Arizona so it is hot and dry all the time. ❤
If you are worried about your battery grinders getting wet, you should have some pneumatic ones to use when you have to work in the rain. Air tools don't even care if they are used underwater as long as you oil them afterwards.
Working in the rain is part of having cows. I had a dairy in coastal Oregon. Wet all winter.
Hi from Pennsylvania USA I don't miss a chance to watch u I love that u can fix the problem on the cows feet Thank you so much from CherylAnn
You all live in a beautiful place but so do I Halifax Nova Scotia Canada 🇨🇦 but I love the rain my mom told me I was born on a rainy stormy day and was the happiest baby in the nursery the only not crying my head off 😂❤
I know you appreciate knowing how people feel about your videos, so as someone who didn't like the music in the other video, I wanted to say you NAILED this one. Just reiterating most of us who found the music too distracting in that particular video have generally not had an issue with any of your others. This was beautifully balanced, we still got lots of sounds from the farm, and when you used music it enhanced the video without taking away from anything. Loved it!! Absolutely perfect.
IT’S A MIRACLE!!!! I thought for sure you would both melt in the rain. Good job boys
I am very grateful for these videos and your willingness to show it how it is. Thank you
Hats off to both of you. Good work.
Hello Graeme, I found your channel a few weeks ago, and I love it. Thank you for caring so much for the cows. You seem to love them. Thank you for sharing all of your videos with us and be careful, and God bless you and Craig. I live in the state of Maine USA
Welcome to The Herd! I lot of us start watching from a recommend from a farm channel. I really couldn't see why I would be interested. Been here over two years and am now watching the early videos. It's fascinating to see Greame work and help these cows. He and his team care deeply about his wee girls.
I love watching Hoof GP😍 Graeme you are a life saver❤
Yours is a valuable service.
Similar weather to what we have in Ontario 🇨🇦 this time of year. As someone who also works outside rain or shine it’s tough sometimes for sure. Thanks for showing the world this side of agriculture!
Same weather in North-east England. Rained for days
I would’ve love to have met you and tell you how much I love watching your videos and all that I have learned from you as I’m in school for veterinary medicine. I was actually in school in Grenada when you were in the states. You are amazing and love learning new things from you. Thank you.
she was glad to get out of the rain. im in the south and i can confirm the rain in the last few weeks has been icy, lots of hail in with it, though the sun feels warm in the dry spells
Loved this video. It showed how to improvise when situations aren’t in your favour. Not perfect conditions, but perfect addition to your hoof trimming videos
OMW what pain that girl must've been experiencing!! So glad you were able to help her get onto the road of healing!
Your videos are some of my favorites. I was raised a farm girl so I have so much appreciation for what you do. However the same thought keeps running through my head. "Geez, I hope he has an outside shower"!
I know the feeling about the rain not stopping, in Australia it hasn't stopped raining since December last year.
Your just like the postman, rain, sleet or shine your there for those cows!❤
Audio is fine. Don't worry about the music after the intro...the wind and other noises are like ASMR... It's fine. :)
My mother taught me that you don't know how to knit if you don't know how to rip!!!. Works for all things you do in life.
It's not ideal for work but i don't mind being wet, as long as it's not wet and cold. I can't imagine the rain makes any work with animals any easier. Thanks for still taking care of the cattle feets in the rain.
Cammy's rain has finally made it to you now, Graeme. That is too bad for all of you there.
Adding a big golf umbrella to your kit comes to mind… 😁🌂
We know all about rain in Oregon. 😂 you guys are awesome taking such good care of the cows. Videos are oddly satisfying and I’m learning soo much
Wet weather and still a good job. Thanks for sharing 😊
So good to see the care you give these cows!
I love your videos and love that you are helping the cows. I used to work at an organic dairy farm and it pained me to see that some of the time you couldn't help the cow because of the regulation on meds in in the organic industry. No antibiotics or pain killers. What was common was iodine for cuts and dextrose for weak cows mainly after calfing out.
Good timing! I needed a quick break and a good Hoof GP video!
I don’t know the first thing about what it takes to raise cattle but I sure do enjoy watching your videos!
I've watched this and hit the thumbs 👍 but it will not show up. I wanted you to know I enjoyed this video. It was very educational because I've not seen you work in the rain. Thank you.
Hello from Louisiana USA. Love listening to you as you work your magic!
Poor cow. I was afraid you'd have to take much more off the back. Happily, you're the expert. 😊😊👋👋❤❤
Thoroughly enjoy watching you all at work. Pack a tarp / fly sheet for the weather, Justin.....just in case. 👍
Hellooooo I am from México and I Love your videos !!! I don't have any cows or a farm or anything I live in the city BUT since I watched your videos I want to become a hoof trimmer 😂😂😂 thank you for making these videos !!!
You are a trooper Graeme! Thank you!
✍🏼Hello...The weather has been crazy everywhere even here in Ohio. First its wet, windy ,cold then its warm and then its cold ,wet, windy and rainy☔. We were finally able to mow our lawn between the rain drops cause the grass was getting high and I don't like a nasty looking yard. That poor cow must really hurt. So glad you're able to help her feel a bit better. God Bless LuvYa! Bye from rainy☔ Ohio, USA 🇺🇸
Yep Ohio is one of the Bipolar States lol Mom always said as we grew up Ohio is the Sinus Capital of the USA lol. One day you need a coat next day shorts then next day you just go oh heck lets just go back to bed.
I just love hearing you talk❤
Thank you for all of your wonderful vlogs.
Seemingly, you might have to come up with a sort of tent type of roof that you can put up & take down quickly & easily in rainy conditions when working outside. Just a thought.
You're doing miracles for all these cows. Are you planning on making any videos with compilations of just trimming?
Graeme you great. And Creig and Kevin too
I had a sore deep under the skin on my foot for weeks that I couldn't get at because of how much it hurt. I finally just decided to fight through the agony and it released a lot of pressure and my foot hurt so bad for days in that spot, it feels immensely better now though
