Shadow in the games has every right to be angry, his greatest friends were murdered and his father tried to destroy his whole planet. The problem with his more recent depictions is that he’s an asshole even when he doesn’t have a reason to be.

This is what Shadow should be like in the future of Sonic. He should still be the most serious, yet not outright angsty or stuff like that. Just serious and not taking any of the other characters shit. And in here, he was FULLY on the right. Shadow knew Sonic was gonna destroy all and tried to warn him, Sonic did it anyway and destroyed it all. Shadow wanted to fix Sonic's mistake, but was stopped by the shatter space itself. Shadow was suspicious about Nine, and Nine ended up taking all the shards and potentially doomed them all. Shadow was just overall shown to be the most level headed and rational character in the show, and just overall how he should be

Almost. He also has a distain for Sonic in this series while in the games he's never specifically expressed such a thing EXCEPT in Shadow The Hedgehog when he goes on certain more darker paths. But I guess to be fair that's because this version of Sonic is VERY stupid and annoying. lol

@@Axxidous It's less a distain but more an annoyance with Sonic. Shadow tried to warn Sonic and knew he would not listen to him in most conventional ways, so he tried it his way. Yet that did not stop Sonic and got Shadow stuck in a Void, alone, for god knows how long. There is no wonder Shadow acts the way he does, and once they start working together he does not leave Sonic to die, but goes out of his way to save him multiple times

Honestly this is the best version of shadow we've ever had. Just a stoic, dutiful anti-hero who still has enough personality to be a little sassy and occasionally crack a sarcastic joke, it's such a good interpretation of his role. Making him almost the mentor character for Sonic, while also maintaining their rivalry, was such a good move that paid off and created a really entertaining dynamic. I hope they build on that and we get more of it in season 3.

Honestly, with how depressed Sonic seemed at the end of the season (it literally looked as if he were crying), I think Shadow's first instinct is to be livid for being right about Nine but after seeing how messed up Sonic was from the whole thing he'd go to calming him down and awkwardly comforting instead. Shadow is rightfully angry at him and probably itching to let that out, but he's not enough of an asshole that he'd beat up Sonic when he knows he's down. We do see him gathering himself every time Sonic showed genuine remorse about what happened, after all.

I definitely can see Shadow comforting Sonic, since it’s no good hurting him right now. Especially of how shattered and hurt he is. Without them, we wouldn't even have him. 06 (and surprisingly SatBK + Rivals 1 / 2) is when that version of Shadow returned We got glimpses of that Shadow in the Lego spin-off during the 2010s Prime was the proper return to form. As a long-time Shadow fan, I approve and award this Shadow with much love and many head pats 🥹

As someone who grew up with Sonic from the 90, this season was like an aftermath of the adventure 2, with their dynamic explore. This is the 1st time both rival hedgehogs working together to save their world without their usual allies. Sonic was really scared of losing him being the last person from the same world. A lot of references from the adventure 2 appeared on screen

I hope to see E-123 Omega, Silver, Blaze, Team Chaotix and Cream appear into the show for I can get a positive point of view about this show because, for now, I feel like Sonic Prime is just the Season 3 of Sonic Boom due to too much similar common point to Sonic Boom. By start that the main characters in Boom was Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Sticks and Eggman while Prime characters are same but Sticks have been replaced by Rouge with her own personnality and Big is the one who replace Vector with his own personnality while Eggman get several clones of himself. So I can't really say that I feel any hype or joy about the show since it's just a Sonic Boom Season 3 show but with another producer instead be a new show who add more Sonic characters just like the good old Sonic X show who was amazing with a good story so it's sad that Sonic Prime have waste his potential when he could have been as same level like Sonic X and become the best Sonic show but end up to be a Sonic Boom-like show feeling. However, it's cool to see Shadow appear but, come on, we still need the Team Chaotix with Vector, Espio and Charmy, E-123 Omega, Silver and Blaze to appear into the show. The Sonic serie can't be just focus with only Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy everytime just like Frontier, Superstars, Origins and Mania while others characters missing for somes years right? Now I think about it... It's been a while I didn't see Jet the Hawk with his team or Cream appear into a new Sonic game on console with cutscenes and story mode.

This is what Shadow should be like in the future of Sonic. He should still be the most serious, yet not outright angsty or stuff like that. Just serious and not taking any of the other characters shit. And in here, he was FULLY on the right. Shadow knew Sonic was gonna destroy all and tried to warn him, Sonic did it anyway and destroyed it all. Shadow wanted to fix Sonic's mistake, but was stopped by the shatter space itself. Shadow was suspicious about Nine, and Nine ended up taking all the shards and potentially doomed them all. Shadow was just overall shown to be the most level headed and rational character in the show, and just overall how he should be

Yet that did not stop Sonic and got Shadow stuck in a Void, alone, for god knows how long. There is no wonder Shadow acts the way he does, and once they start working together he does not leave Sonic to die, but goes out of his way to save him multiple times

Honestly this is the best version of shadow we've ever had. Just a stoic, dutiful anti-hero who still has enough personality to be a little sassy and occasionally crack a sarcastic joke, it's such a good interpretation of his role. Making him almost the mentor character for Sonic, while also maintaining their rivalry, was such a good move that paid off and created a really entertaining dynamic. I hope they build on that and we get more of it in season 3.

Honestly, with how depressed Sonic seemed at the end of the season (it literally looked as if he were crying), I think Shadow's first instinct is to be livid for being right about Nine but after seeing how messed up Sonic was from the whole thing he'd go to calming him down and awkwardly comforting instead. Shadow is rightfully angry at him and probably itching to let that out, but he's not enough of an asshole that he'd beat up Sonic when he knows he's down. We do see him gathering himself every time Sonic showed genuine remorse about what happened, after all.

As someone who grew up with Sonic from the 90, this season was like an aftermath of the adventure 2, with their dynamic explore. This is the 1st time both rival hedgehogs working together to save their world without their usual allies. Sonic was really scared of losing him being the last person from the same world. A lot of references from the adventure 2 appeared on screen
