In this video I have created a space mech for my brother. The bow is the core weapon of the mech, so a lot of care has been taken to make the bow part of the structure deformed and lit, and the body of the mech is also illuminated in many places. The whole set is 2m high and the bow and arrows are 1.8m long, and the weight of the hover cannon on the back has increased considerably. Finally, my brother, who likes to play games, put it on with great anticipation, but he wanted to take it off after only three seconds of being handsome, complaining that he almost got heatstroke in the Hot summer without an air conditioner. Haha

the Mech looks amazing, what a difference between to cardboard Mech you made some time ago and this version. Also the filming and editing skill's look much updated. Not sure of you already watch hem, but Adam Savage's Tested has a couple of nice ideas to cool his own cosplay projects in the past. maybe it could help you cooling yours a little down as well.

So she models the costume in 3d. Exports a UV map, prints and cuts out and assembles the pieces to create the suit. That's phenomenal. My greatest respect for your discipline and creativity.

Not only can she make the props for the film. But she can write, direct and edit the films as well. Incredible talent in this one.
Kinda like how that Li Ziqi Plants, grows, records, edits, and farms by herself. Don't forget those 2 guys who can make a hut with a pool in 3 days by themselves....🙄

If there was an award for best sister EVER, you'd win hands down! I love Mechs (grew up in the 80s and 90s era of Mech Anime) and this suit calls back to that! You could turn this into a full movie with your brother as the star!
First of all, you are a wonderful sister! The fact that you went through all this work, with all this dedication...just to see a smile on your brother's face, deserved my "like" instantly.....Second, the suit is insane, in the most positive way! The details, the bow mechanism...everything was so carefully crafted that I had to watch the video twice just to make sure, in my mind, that it was real, not cgi lol......and I also loved that suit because it reminded me of some games I used to play years ago, like "metal gear solid", "zone of the enders" and "overwatch"....the nostalgia hit hard and made me smile.....Excellent work! You should add a mechanism to the bow that makes the inside of it light up and glow when the string is drawn. That would be awesome! Great work!

Wow! That’s an amazing job. Great job. Safety tip: make the Band Saw blade shorter, so you have less of the saw showing and you will have less of an accident. You just need just enough of the saw showing to do the job.

I have seen a number of this young ladies works on you tube. I have been at a loss to how I would explain her work. From making functional bows, to complex fantasy suits like this to miniature Godzilla to building a house? Then I looked at my humble beginnings as an Architect and then also an engineer! This girl could fit right in there with any of those positions, but in reality, with her creativity at such a young age, I would class her as a genius artist! You never cease to amaze, Xiao Qian Feng!

Most impressive, it's one thing to create the suit, but to integrate electronics into it as well is no small feat, that's some nice soldering work. The bow is sick, especially how it extends How is the visibility though, there doesn't appear to be any holes on the helmet for the eyes to look through, unless it's like a one way mirror on the inside

Tip for future soldering. Heat up the copper on the bottom with your soldering iron. Then apply the tin on top and let it melt through. Applying solder just on top is called a cold solder job and isn't as reliable as you've got no tin inside of the copper strands.

You know, I really envy people like you who has all the things to be creative. I wanted to make costumes since I can remember. But I don't the tools, the equipments, the materials, and the time to make one. I am a father now and focus my life on giving what my family's need..The good thing though is that I am building Gundam kits, customizing them, and also painting them colors that I want. I may not be able to build life size costumes, but I get the same feeling when I am customizing my gunpla kits..
