Oh wow! This video tutorial has to be watched to the end. When you started to add the gold I became concerned…but after moving the gold with the torch… wow. It’s the lacing that grabs my attention. It would make a lovely painting.

💜 I'm loving what you did with the gold on the coasters. They are really expensive looking. I need to check out the gold mica that you used. I have those card holder molds and I styled some as cell phone stands for some friends gifts and they loved them. They actually ordered some for Christmas gifts. Lots of ways to embellish them and because of their weight they make a sturdy stand. 💜

Spray a bit of Isopropyl alcohol between the resin piece and the mold when you want to get them out. They will pop out very easily, you‘ll see.☺️ Love these flakes!😍

I’m a total glam girl… and I do resin work as well… but I don’t know, I think that might be too much bling… if that’s possible. Nice quality sound on your video. I wonder if an opaque darker colorant would be pretty instead of the gold… would really make the opal like glitter pop and be a little tamer…🤷♀️

They are all beautiful!!! Isn't it hard to do two separate pours of colored resin, though? One difference in how much dye/powder can make a different shade?

The line of the different layers doesn't show since the mold was completely dusted. I usually mix my white with the same amount of pigment so it turns out the same each time. Hope that made sense 💟
seems like the flakes have a mind of there own some don't want to go in the mold just fly all over, Naptime just pour some resin on the table there's its all flaked up. All non-sense a side I ben given these flakes a thought they look Nice in Ashtray, wowee even with the clear resin looks ok but the rest of ur Art magnificent, thank you for sharing
Yes 😅 that is true they like to fly into the air because they're so weightless. I found dumping them in the mold helped reduce the flyers 😆 thanks for watching 🤗

On business card holder did u used first white resin coating and then over it blue resin coating dear?
The mold had a little room left inside so I filled it with blue after I did the white

Could you of picked up all those loose flakes all over the table with clear tape then put the tape in resin?
Thanks for watching 🤗 I think they would have stuck to tape and not come off. I work over wax paper so an easy way to use the flyers would be to work over wax paper then you can pick up the wax paper and put it back into the container or put the flakes into some clear if you have some ready to go.
