  • This airport has alot of variety. Its amazing how many jumbo aircraft go in and out. Plus its good to see the queen of the sky still flying. You dont see them much in the USA. My spotting comprises a lot of business jets.

    • @erickscott5732 That would make since considering LAX has a lot of international flights. The international Airport closest to me (Lambert) has one...from St. Louis to Frankfort Germany. Otherwise, it's a hub for Southwest Airlines.

    • @everettsaviation314 I definitely understand that. I live in the dfw area, I recently started going to Founder's Plaza. DFW has mostly American, and most of their fleet is narrow bodies. They have the 777s and 787s. They have some European airlines and Middle Eastern. They have Korean air and JAL. They have a Qantas 787 9. Only 380 they have is a British airways it's daily flight. They have a few choices. I was blown away watching LAX live with the number of wide bodies/jumbos.

    • Certainly becoming a rarer sight I see! Although as mentioned, some of the cargo hubs in the US like Chicago, Los Angeles and Anchorage see plenty of 747s consistently, so the Queen lives on!

  • Very enjoyable video from an airport that other KZheadrs don't cover so much. A couple of points from what I have watched so far - 1) At 3:19, do you know what airline that cargo aircraft was? 2) At 5:05, Cathay Pacific from HKG to CDG in 3 hrs 30 mins? Even the Concorde couldn't do that journey that fast! 😂 13 hrs 30 mins perhaps? (How wonderful would it be able to fly from East Asia to Paris in under 4 hours! - yes please! 😂

    @adeejinnz@adeejinnzАй бұрын
    • Also the 747 is an AERO TRANS CARGO operating from the UAE normally. Hong Kong has a huge cargo hub so you see loads of different non recognisable airlines there.

      @TheAviatorChannel-re9ux@TheAviatorChannel-re9uxАй бұрын
  • 7:16 One of the rarest cases in every flight. The pilot pulled the plane's gear up, but the aircraft still did not retract. The error was because the brake system to stop the aircraft's rotation was not working. Without this system, when the aircraft's gear is retracted, the inside will catch fire. Therefore when the brake fails, the manufacturers have made it non-retractable.

  • Hong Kong Airport really is a magnificent airport, I transited there twice. Once in 2018, I transited into Hong Kong to fly to Toronto. After my trip in Toronto I would fly back to transit in Shanghai and back to my home in HCM. But, when I transited in Hong Kong again in December this year, the airport really died down since. I couldn't believe such a beautiful airport could be torn apart like this after protests in Hong Kong. Hong Kong Airport has never felt the same ever since, in men stalls people literally sharpied a badmouthing to Cathay Pacific as Cathay Pathetic or Cathay Phucker. It really breaks my heart honestly, beautiful airport noneoftheless.
