She got the platinum ticket for a reason. She’s beyond capable and MAYBE even too good for American Idol. We were rooting for her because she was hands down top 5. But something better definitely came her way! I’ve been watching American Idol for years and so far, this season’s contestants have been incredible, votes are gonna be so close!

Receiving that million obligates the winner to certain things, which is why for years people have said certain artists were better off not winning the show or even withdrawing.

Not only mega-talented, but she was always PERFECTLY DRESSED to reflect her brand. Her outfits, accessories, shoes, ALWAYS 'sweet', classy, and understated. She KNEW exactly who she was. LOVE her!
I was thinking that too. She dressed in pretty modest understated clothing, which gave an added sense of humility to someone with such unbelievable talent.

She sang off key in this song and she sang off key a lot. I wanted her to win, myself. She's really good with vocal runs and doing more fast paced songs but when she takes on a slow ballad, it would appear she needs more training.

Definitely already been signed/picked up by a major record label. I don’t think she or her family understood the magnitude of just how talented she is, and I think even just the first couple episodes helped tremendously receiving the judges feedback and receiving worldwide exposure. I hope she continues to stay humble and true to herself throughout her journey!! 💗

When you sing like that, I’m not sure it matters what you look like. She checks all the boxes from a marketability standpoint. Her vocals are literally, better than most mainstream pop artists.

her vocals are average at best. she made this a very booring version. yea she beltet it out with a long breath. but it was a weak belt, went off key at the end. overall she has good looks and seems likeable. but thats not enough. she is not a musician, and vocals are average. i can bring you 100 people on that or better level vocaly and none of them will ever make it. you cant market sand, even if its nice and good sand, it simply to much of it avaliable. you need to have something unique that people wanna follow. either really good songs and a good style. or very outstanding qualitys as a musician or better both. or at elast very outstanding vocals. there so many young stalents ticking at least 2 of those boxes trying hard to get a chance.

I talked to her in person 2 days before this episode aired. I won't say where out of respect for her, but I will say she is very happy right now spending time with her family and just being a normal person. There are some personal things happening in her life but she is handling them very well. Her personality is not fake for tv at all, she is really that sweet when no cameras are around. Such an amazing talented person with such a bright future

Man, what's happening with my eyes, its filling up. Wow. This is...man...what a performance. She stayed in one spot, didn't dance and prance around the stage, but this was more captivating than any of the other performances for me.

A record producer got to her and was able to show her how he could advance her career. Any record deals with these shows sets real artists back for many years. We will see her real soon and she will come flying out on the radio. Good for her.m
Nope, she'll flop and never be heard from again. Turning down a run through Idol has got to be the dumbest thing someone can do. Idol helps artists grow into a real artist and gives them a much needed boost. Quiters always end up regretting it later down the line, just the truth.. Actually, she can't do that. Contestants sign a contract to be on the show. They are not allowed to sign a recording contract and leave the show. They can leave for other reasons. Like a medical problem or a close family member illness., family emergency, etc.

I have watched this a bunch of times & honestly believe this is one of the best Idol Performances ever its right up there with Kelley Clarkson and honestly even more dialed that hers. The camera loves her, she sounds great, and she connects to the audience and the music!

That was probably the best performance of anyone there it's heartbreaking that something happened that made her step away from this. She's also stunningly beautiful and people could be jealous of that but also that kind of beauty can invite so much attention enough itself that can be really hard to deal with and from very uncool people that don't understand boundaries and respect .... she would really need a lot of support and really good people looking out for her and I hope she finds that and continues her career because she's really amazing. I think this whole platinum ticket thing shouldn't be in the American Idol. It's too much pressure. I wouldn't be surprised if it's taken a toll on her. I’m so heartbroken that she left the show. She is so talented and beautiful but equally as kind and humble which is so rare to find. I was so excited to watch her perform and grow as an artist/woman. Im sure whatever reason she had for leaving was a justifiable one.. I just hope she doesn’t end up regretting her decision bc this show could’ve been a life changing moment in her life/career. She's almost certainly been approached with an offer from someone to let her be the artist she wants to be and not get nailed into a contract coffin with no artistic control over her content. Smart move by her imo Be happy you'll likely get to see the best version of her in the near future, not some cookie cutter version of whatever pop princess is currently trending.

She probably would have been a finalist, but I would not say she is head and heels over Nikolina. When Nikolina nails it perfectly, she sounds on par with Adele. Also, HunterGirl's performances are literally effortless. I hate country music and she makes me want to listen to it.

I can only imagine the pressure. The entertainment industry can be a tough place for a teenager. So many go in sweet and innocent and the industry twists them into a sexualized (usually) version of themselves. Not to mention the life-style and creepy predator types. It's no wonder so many self-destruct. Brittney Spears comes to mind as the most public meltdown.

So sad to see Kenedi gone from this competition. Having said this, I truly believe Kenedi is going to be one of the biggest starts in the music industry. She's humble, so very talented, beautiful, and has the self-confidence to attempt and hit soaring notes that give listeners goosebumps. This was a world-class performance by a rising star. Update. I just listened to this wonderful performance again and I am so emotionally moved by Kenedi's vocal abilities. I know that I will re-visit this performance often in the coming years and remember when I first saw Kenedi sing on Idol.
