    • Kind of late for that. But we're getting a Rick/Michonne movie. But still, I'd rather have had him come back to end the show for the last season or two. What a missed opportunity. Without at least a few of the original cast it just won't feel like Rick is "Back". Sadly. I think Norman's show will be the only good one. Him in Paris fighting superwalkers....Sounds cool. The Maggie/Negan sounds dumb. Plus the Maggie actress is garbo without Glenn anymore. And Negan not being a head smashing prick is boring. Crossing my fingers though.

I was walking down the hallway of my hotel with my girlfriend and he commented on our zombie costumes and walked with us as we made our way to the event.... He carried a bottle of whiskey most of the night sipping from it and chatting with people.. At one point in the evening they had a zombie prom in the ballroom and Norman was dancing with his bottle of whiskey on the dancefloor surrounded by zombies..It was so surreal and funny at the same time.. He was really having a good time.

  • It's interesting watching this clip keeping in context Sarah's interview with Jon. Norman said that he was not particularly close to Frank Darabont b/c Frank was "in love with Andy (Rick), Sarah (Lorie) and Jon (Shane)." This is why Norman more than likely wasn't apart of the group who were willing to fight for Frank when he was dropped from the show because (1) he wasn't personally close to Frank and (2) the character of Daryl, while important, was never intended, by Frank, to be a major lead of the show. It's telling how POST Frank Darabont, Daryl steadily became a more central figure of the show. This is no shade to Norman, but he most certainly benefitted from Frank no longer working on TWD.

  • this makes so much sense! because when Daryl steps onscreen in TWD, pissed at the "filthy, disease carrying" walker that munched on his deer, it was as if EVERYONE else was "just playing" & the Real Feel of the TWD universe came walking onset in the flesh. (the viewer follows Rick, who for all intents & purposes is "playing catch-up," & the camp is filled with characters who are still reminiscing on the way things were; Shane is the only other character who's "caught up" quick, knows both the gravity & therefore the relief of the situation, but unfortunately loses his empathy in the process - whereas Daryl's character grows in empathy - not discounting his already big heart) His "performances" never seemed forced, only instinctive & reactive... & if you were living in Lala-land & movie magic before, after "meeting" him, you were totally immersed, living every moment & feeling every feel. Accidental actor & great story-teller, with minimal words & a few tears...

  • Thank you Jon for being the voice this upcoming generation needs to hear, too many lost and hurt people out there right now. I’ve been binge watching your content and it’s the best of the best of REAL conversations. I don’t really relate to the religious stuff but I know for a lot of people that’s what they need to get through what ever they are going through. The biggest thing I have gotten out of this project is no matter how successful you are, everyone generally goes through the same hardships and problems. And how you deal with those obstacles is what makes are breaks you as a functional human being.

  • My very first walker stalking I ended up staying at the same hotel that all of you did so I was just fangirling but that night before I saw Scott Wilson walking around in the front of the hotel and I wanted so much to talk to him but I decided no I'm not invading his space . So the next day when I got to meet him I told him I saw you last night but didn't want to bother you. He said thank you for giving him his space and was so thankful and I got two hugs a signed photo I regret not getting a photo with him .I was broke back then lol but being in his presence I will never forget was a honor.
