I was at the University of Manitoba to check up on and ride some of the elevators but it got cut short when out of nowhere. the power went out! This happend at just the right but just the wrong time! The power went out just as the elevator door had closed but just before it had started moving so we were still level with the floor. If the power would have gone out a few seconds sooner, we would not have been stuck in the elevator. If the power went out a few seconds later we would have been stuck in between floors which would have made it a lot harder for them to get us out. Aparently, all building lost power and there were other elevators stuck with people inside but when we were walking back to the car, a section of the tunnel that connects all the buildings had power which was odd. We were in the elevator for about 40 minutes. It was a little bit hot in the elevator so that was not nice but it could have been worse. By the way, this is the third elevator at the University of Manitoba that I have been stuck in!!
