DIY or Die: HAM Radio Simple Telescoping Base 2M Radio Tower by KJ4WXH & KJ4VDJ

Materials needed...
1 2 M Antenna

LMR 400 ultra flex cable measured to length with connectors via Ham Radio Outlet
and from Lowes/Home Depot
1 section of standard length chain link fence Top Rail
2 end pieces of Top Rail 2-3' if you want interchangeable antennas
1 section 1" screw pipe for your bottom half....
Overall antenna height will be +-16'
Drill hole for take down position and for full up position, suggest a 2' overlap for stability.
Also
1 PVC T for the yolk.
1 piece of +1" PVC the height of a 5 gallon bucket to insert the 1" screw pipe into
1 5 gallon bucket
1 bag of Sakrete
KJ4WXH had the idea for the bucket base. What is it with Italian and cement anyways.
