And it only took 9 years for the elevator to be fixed.
Why 9 years? It wasn't working from day 1, and fixed at the end of season 12. And we don't know when exactly it was broken, we saw the flashback episode, but don't know how many years before season 1 that happened.

During season 1, they'd already been living together for 3 years. Each season is about a year, so that's 15 years.
Actually 16. Leonard said he had been living with Sheldon for 7 years. It was fixed 9 years after this episode
Given that Leonard first met Sheldon in 2003, and considering the time of each season corresponds to the years it aired, e.g. season 1 took place in 2007-2008, then the elevator’s been broken for 16 years [because it broke in 2003, and that it was fixed before the series finale, which is in season 12 (2018-2019)]
It's amazing how Sheldon acts like a child and Lenord and Penny like his parents. While Raj and Haword is literally us in the background 😂😂😂

It's more than just that Penny is pretty and super funny. She's cute and beautiful kinda sexy and just the right amount of sarcasm and I don't know what. It works for her big time.

Seasons 6 and 7 were still great. With a gem of the episodes like The Scavenger Vortex with the scavenger hunt, which was brilliant. Or he Re-Entry Minimization when they are playing Pictionary, which may just be the most brilliantly written storyline ever on this show. The Habitation Configuration, The 43 Peculiarity, the Bakersfield Expedition when guys were supposed to be at Comic-Con but their car got stolen, etc, the list of great episodes goes on&on in seasons 6 and 7. The show went downhill def in season 8.
The Re-Entry Minimizatjon is one of my favorite episodes EVER!
Penny eventually came around and told him she loves him . From past experience after watching this episode several years ago I made that mistake when I was 17 and I kind of the same thing Leonard did so I definitely learned from my experience and Leonard you’re not alone. this episode aired on CW two days ago

For the people whining about how the show turned out, don't you notice they went from young naive nerds to almost-grown up guys? It's nice to be comfortable with yourself, but it's almost impossible not to change once your adult life and relationships change your environment. They just grew up and had a life, you guys should try.

Penny stays in a one bedroom apartment, Shelly and Leonard stay in a two bedroom apartment with much bigger space. The rent is obviously much lower in the former.

They didn't NEED to, Sheldon has checks upon checks not cashed because the things he wants aren't invented yet. It's shown in later season, it's just a better means of saving money especially if you have the space to have a roommate

Penny married him because he is one of very few men who can be smart , sensitive and humorous. His qualities are more than that but I digress.

COME ON how is this not a retcon? the writers should've owned up and said 'pretend the scene with penny never happened and now we're doing a new thing' Sheldon even had that catholic confession thing w/ Tam over something not as big as adultery. And you think Sheldon would keep quiet over adultery??!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA the writers should rewrite that scene with sheldon & penny. What they could've done is say 'hey we changed our minds. S3 is when the show really found its mark. S3-5 are the best imo with 2 being pretty good. It was sadly mostly downhill after that

It went downhill after season 5. The disastrous raj v Penny waking up in leonards bed. Which even the writers admitted was a bad move. Slide to homebase from there.
The first three seasons of The Big Bang Theory was amazing until they added those two new characters that ruined the show
