  • Please support this channel on Patreon: www.patreon.com/Nick930 You'll get early access to next months documentary, along with personalized shout-outs, behind the scenes videos and images, and with enough support - I can finally scale back those annoying ads so you guys can tune in and enjoy an uninterrupted experience. I hope you enjoy this project as much as I did putting it together :) Just a quick note: I did reach out to Crytek for a few answers to questions I had, and they confirmed to me that "Saber" is the 3rd party company that will be handling Crysis Remastered. Now the question remains, what is Crytek proper working on in the meantime? Also - I've been getting quite a few comments trying to "correct" me about Cevat Yerli's background. Yes - he is Turkish, but he's a German citizen. He refers to himself as German - and the company itself is a German company.

  • And here's a testament to the graphical requirements of the OG Crysis. In 2016 I bought a Gigabyte G1 Gaming Edition GTX 970. It was the first GPU I owed that could play Crysis at 1080p with all graphics settings maxed out and still hit fluid and smooth framerates. Crysis was released in 2007. The GTX 970 was 2014. That's 7 years of GPUs that, while at some level at least, could play Crysis but could struggle with the higher settings. Only the highest, beefiest enthusiast level of GPUs could max out Crysis but even those cards would sweat a bit. Even iGPUs of today would still struggle to play Crysis maxes out. But still what a beautiful game Crysis is. After finding out what happened to Jester, taking out a handful of KPA patrols, then cresting over a hill overlooking your first KPA FOB just at the sun rises, day breaks and the god rays stream through the tree leaves. I always had more fun fighting the KPA than I did the aliens. I loved the part where you faced off I think either 3 or 4 KPA soldiers with their 99 Cent store nanosuits and having an intense cat and mouse game with them as you tried to out-stealth each other. Crysis 2 & 3 weren't too bad, but they just didn't feel like a true Crysis to me. The bow you got in 3 was cool and all, but nothing beat the having the assault rifle in Crysis 1 but with the silencer and sniper scope mods attached. With the flick of a switch you could have a semi-automatic silenced sniper rifle, but if the fight got too close to you suddenly you have a fully automatic lead spitter without changing weapon.

  • All 3 Games hold a special place in my heart. I think Crysis 3 was the peak of the Franchise while also throwing Crytek down a hill. The first Crysis still has that Classic Shooter feeling and I understand why for some people it's the best. Personally Crysis 2 is my favorite though because it introduced me to the Franchise and it felt extremely futuristic.

  • I was a console player at that time so I could not play the first game but Crysis 2 and 3 are some of my favorite games of all time (well mainly the third) and the first game I played on PS3. I am really hyped for the remaster of the first game and finally I will be able to play it. But btw really great video.

I am willing to forgive and let it go, cause everyone makes mistakes, but when they take you for a fool, u kinda get to see, that the mistake was yours. I know it´s a business company, BUT, 1ST OF ALL, they are a gaming company. They say ¨not to judge a book by it´s cover¨ ... ok, i can see that one being the rule, but when it´s happening 1 time, 2 time even 3 times, that is NOT coincidence, or an accident, NO, that is a PATERN. It´s gonna take me some time at least to trust them again. I have better devs and better games that deserve my support, and patience, simply because they have talent, vision, creativity and fairness toward us.

    • With respect my man, Ryse Son of Rome was a bad game in a lot of senses. The gameplay was repetitive, the story was like they borrow from a lot of pop culture stuffs, full of historical inaccuracies and worse, boring. The graphic was probaly the only thing I could care about.
