Some one said: “ JKD has become what he didn’t want.” Well I’m sorry to say, all of life is like mathematics: 2-1=1. You will always need the technique to solve problems. That’s why JKD evolved this way. That’s why karate and jujutsu work. Violence is a chess game. The best moves win. I have seen this as a jail Officer. If I had not trained in kempo, I would have had my ass handed to me as a fourth five year old man against young inmates. So I myself am OK that JKD has very effective and good practical defenses.

Not bad! However the straight leads footwork should synchronize with the lead itself, it needs to be one movement. Instead of stepping, kick your leg outwards and allow your other foot to follow with, essentially. It's faster and smoother and harder to read.

Da oltre 30 anni vengo alle Canarie , siano Tenerife Lanzarote o gran canaria , trovandomi sempre bene e perché eleggendole come luogo dove pensare se non di trasferirmi , di comperare almeno una casa dove passare più mesi durante l’anno. Ma le Canarie sono molto cambiate, paradossalmente il successo che hanno avuto in questi ultimi 5 /6 anni le hanno rese per quel che mi riguarda invivibili , troppo sfruttate sotto tutti i punti di vista , tanto che , mi è passata la voglia anche di venirci in vacanza . Non trovo più quella spontaneità che prima ti offrivano queste isole , tutto troppo turistico .
