"haha! we did it!" *1 minute later* "Nvm, we're dead"
cofagrigus with toxic stall as a lead is so annoying
Arceus called, he wants his drums back
I love the part when he said "Dennis"
Dennis Dennis Dennis DENNIS
Haha that’s my name
POV: You just became champion and walked into shaking grass expecting an Audino, only to be greeted by a Pseudo Legendary
How it feels to play ORAS randomizer and end up with your first trainer battle being Champion Steven
WOE METAGROSS BE UPON YE
Honestly, I feared Ghetsis's Hydreigon more than Cynthia's Garchomp. And quite frankly, I think I had every right to, given how that thing has nasty Type coverage. But something else that they should've done: If this battle (even if it's only this battle) DIDN'T play the low health music when your Pokemon fell into the red. That way this theme never gets interrupted. Because to say this theme is sinister is an understatement, it is straight up horrifying, especially given the fact that Ghetsis said he would eliminate you to ensure his plans came to fruition.
Even more menacing, the drums get *more* intense when you're at low health
His Hydreigon’s moveset was specifically designed to obliterate all of N’s team if you think about it. Dragon Pulse for Reshiram/Zekrom, Focus Blast for Zoroark, and Carracosta, Fire Blast for Vanilluxe and Klingklang and Surf for Archeops.
100% agree! Red health theme was nice, but I hated when it played between N's, Iris' and ESPECIALLY Ghetsis' theme.
Cynthia is only Hard because of the level jump between the 8th gym and the elite four. Ghetsis is easier cause he is most likely only like 4 levels ahead of you. But on the other hand cynthia is like 10-15 levels ahead of you. And in the remakes her pokemon are EV trained which is even scarier and held items where as Ghetsis has no held items at all
@@Glisten456 PLEASE let this be a thing in the inevitable gen 5 remake. This idea's way too good.

Ghet 🐍 sis... Ss ..... N is probably adam, considering you are the one gaining the knowledge first, thusly making you eve, thusly making every player a WOMAN, and we all know woman are crazy 😏 You're down right psychotic, WOMAN. Xd Hearing snakes talk n shit
This song plays when Mr. Wilson has had enough of Dennis' shit.
this is the best comment I've seen in my life
Consider something... N's final team is as follows: Box Legendary (Electric or Fire/ Dragon), Carracosta (Water/Rock), Vanilluxe (Ice), Archeops (Rock/Flying), Zoroark (Dark), and Klinklang (Steel) ...Ghetsis's team is as follows: Cofagrigus (Ghost), Bouffalant (Normal), Seismitoad (Water/Ground), Bisharp (Dark/Steel), Eelektross (Electric), and Hydreigon (Dark/Dragon). If these two were matched up, we would have... Hydreigon or Bouffalant or Seismitoad vs Box Legendary- Dragon is weak to itself and Hydreigon could take on either Box Legendary with Dragon Pulse, especially with the slight level difference in Hydreigon's favor. In the event that fails, Bouffalant and Seismitoad have Earthquake to finish the job, being strong against both Electric and Fire Hydreigon or Bisharp vs Zoroark and Klinklang- Hydreigon has Focus Blast to wipe the floor with them in a turn while Bisharp is packing X-Scissor for the same to lesser effect for Zoroark in particular Hydreigon or Eelektross vs Vanilluxe- Eelektross has Flamethrower to melt that ice cream down, Hydreigon has Fire Blast for even greater effect, as well as Focus Blast Literally his entire team except Eelektross vs Carracosta- Cofagrigus is lesser but it can easily splash him with a toxic to prevent Sturdy from kicking in and then retreat to anyone else, ALL of them save for Eelektross having effective options against the poor turtle- Hydreigon's Focus Blast, Bouffalant's and Seismitoad's Earthquake, and Bisharp's Metal Burst Hydreigon or Bisharp vs Archeops- Hydreigon has Surf to capitalize on Archeops's Rock typing as well as Focus Blast while Bisharp has Metal Burst for that This man specifically crafted his team for the sole purpose of hard-countering N's final team, Legendary included! Horrifying what that implies once N made everyone release their Pokemon, and absolutely on-brand for Ghetsis too.
yeah, ghetsis came prepared also rock doesn't resist electric, N's carracosta gets fucking cooked by ghetsis' ENTIRE team, that poor fucker doesn't stand a chance
ghetsis when ghetbro walks in 😮😮

Dear Gamefreak, PLEASE for the sake of difficulty give Ghetsis' Hydreigon Flash Cannon in the remakes
They (ILCA) did give Cynthia’s Garchomp Poison Jab in BDSP, so I wouldn’t put something like that past them.
And PLEASE let him use the generational gimmick to make his Hydreigon scarier, they let Steven use a Mega Metagross but didn't let Cynthia dynamax her Garchomp and it was so disappointing.
@@xuanathan unfortunately, that can't quite happen even if the remakes didn't go the faithful route. power spots are a key part of the dynamaxing process, something completely absent from sinnoh.
@@FlareStorms Megas were derived from AZ's weapon which is only in Kalos, but they still fit that into ORAS because they acknowledged players really like generational gimmicks.
@@xuanathan There’s also the tiny little problem called “all four of Shigeru Ohmori’s main series Pokémon games need to be based around their generational gimmicks in the first place”. ORAS is one of my favorite games in the series, so what’s the problem here? Simple: I just don’t like the games for their generational gimmicks at all. Megas are fine in theory, but ruined by how they’re handled in multiplayer.
The reason Cynthia’s Garchomp feels so much more overwhelming than Ghetsis’ Hydreigon in BW is because Garchomp’s only weaknesses pre-Gen6 were dragon and ice type moves, while Hydreigon could be hit super effectively with more common types like fighting and bug. Now, actually surviving long enough to hit EITHER of those monsters, that’s a whole ‘nother story.
Also Cynthia's Garchomp had a massive level jump compared to what came before. Ghetsis really didn't. Also Garchomp is just faster then Hydreigon.
Yeah you basically needed an Ice type to have a winning matchup against her Garchomp, and since all the Ice types appear so late in the game it’s unlikely you’d pick one up.
Emboar has a FAIR chance of enduring Surf long enough to wreck that douchebag with Hammer Arm/Brick Break
Tbh any pseudo legendary that champions or final bosses had (pre-fairy types )were always the bane of my existence as a kid
I used a Fighting Gem-boosted Brick Break on my Emboar. I had to use calcs to make sure I can survive a non-crit Surf. This also meant I couldn't use Fighting-type moves until I beat Hydreigon. Fortunately, it was sent out almost immediately.
Someone's already said it somewhere else but Ghetsis is literally just what happens when you throw a FE character into Pokémon. I get VERY strong Validar/Garon vibes from this freak.
he’s even got the whole abusive father thing going on too. like almost every fe villain.
Calling Ghetsis a freak is so cathartic to me especially when considering that's what he called poor N.
@@apocalypseofplush Ghetsis definitely isn't aware of it...but calling N that was nothing but plain old projection.
Nah, Ghetsis SURPASSES Garon.
@@josemolina1321 True, Garon would probably be envious.
Imagine it. You're out of revives, you're running out of heals, you're one pokémon away from losing the battle, and he's still got three in reserve. Your last line of defense is a Lilligant. You are me.
I pray for you
In terms of evil Team leader Pokémon teams Ghetsis is, in my opinion, the gold standard that every evil team leader should be held to. It’s not perfect, but it has a lot going for it. Each Pokémon has something to offer to the over all team. Cofagrigus: A bulky lead Pokémon that can cripple any Pokémon’s bulk (barring steel types). If gone unchecked this Pokémon will be the greatest threat to your team’s longevity. And that’s not even adding onto the Ability mummy with can cripple Krookidile and it’s moxie ability. Seismotoad: Easily the most slept on member of the team. With swift swim and rain dance it can be a dangerous physical threat. However it is also a decent defensive threat. By weakening Fire type moves it removes Bisharp’s Fire weakness, which is dangerous if u don’t have a fighting type or if u didn’t choose Tepig. Bisharp: If the rain is set up then good luck taking it down. While It’s move set is not the best it is capable of hitting half of the Pokémon types super effectively. Boufallant: Two words Organic Truck. If you do not take this behemoth down the moment it’s out one of your Pokémon our either getting OHKO’d or severely weakened. The only way to beat it is if u one shot it or weather it’s devastating attacks. Especially it’s reckless boosted STAB Head Charge. It also has earthquake for rock types and steel types and it has poison jab which is likely to poison your Pokémon. Eelektross: A slimy fiend that has no weakness and has decent versatility. Though I believe it would benefit more as a special attacker this thing will still give you trouble with its item less acrobatics. Hydreigon: Finally, the beast itself. Where to begin, once this Beast enters the battle judgement day is upon you. This Pokémon is extremely balanced in offense and defense with its above average bulk and it’s monstrous base 125 special attack. If you don’t have a dragon type, ice type, fighting type, or Emboar then you are in for an uphill battle. Hell, even if u had Emboaror an ice type it could just demolish or severely weaken them especially if the Hydreigon out speeds your Pokémon and if rain is up to power up it’s surf. It is immune to ground type moves and can only be effected by stealth rocks, but worst of all is that your Pokémon will most likely be at their wits end and on the brink of fainting. However, there are some ways to play around it without resorting to Emboar or the ledgendary dragons. If rain is up then it is the best opportunity for Samarott, Serperior, and any ice type to tank the weakened fire blasts and hit back hard with either stab or coverage. The rain also weakens Eelecktross’ Flamethrower and make risky moves like Thunder and Hurricane hit all the time. Lastly, bring a fighting type or fighting type moves to OHKO or severely weaken Boufallant, Bisharp and Hydreigon. In conclusion, for anyone making an evil team leader’s rouge’s gallery of Pokémon, look to Ghetsis as the gold standard to not only reach but surpass

Ghetsis' Hydreigon without frustration is like a lake without water
The Hydreigon MUST keep Frustration but otherwise I agree. Frustration was there for two reasons. First, it hit hella hard for a normal attack because reason 2: The lore that Ghetsis is so evil and cruel, even a terrifying and chaotic pokemon like Hydreigon hates and fears him.
Hydreigon (and by extension the other members of Ghetsis' team) were meant to counter N's Pokemon, not be a competitive team
Imagine if, in the remakes, he just gets a Kingambit.
