I have seen some very good replicas, such as the bag I bought at *condup* . The craftsmanship of modern replicas is becoming increasingly sophisticated, and they are within millimeters of each other. It is difficult to tell which ones are fake.
The Evelyn is my favourite Hermes bag, almost certainly because it's so casual. I like the Longchamp alternative, especially the zip fastening. Another alternative is the Mulberry Antony (and the flap closure again makes the bag a bit more secure). As for the Puzzle, I'm not sure anything else lives up to this, I own the original, but I wouldn't even consider the Edge version. ❤

Totally agree, logo-less would be great. The leather versions of the Woody are more discreet than the canvas, and I do like the zip on the Marc Jacobs version. Aspinal of London do some good totes, but non with a proper zip closure.

I received the *esluxs* small puzzle bag for Christmas in textured leather red and I adore this bag. It is so easy to use, so we'll made, love the ease of the zippers and can hold so much. I agree - DeMellier bags are awesome. I have four and I’m very happy with them. As for the Dior book tote - if it’s only about the tote functionality, then yes, plenty of alternatives out there. But for me it’s about those embroideries and designs on them - they’re stunningly beautiful and I absolutely adore them! Nothing like that on the market right now, I think.

Great suggestions for most of them - I am not a fan of the Evelyne but I am really not a fan of the Longchamp bag (it gives me middle-aged mum out and about, especially with the zipper and I am a middle-aged mum, lol). I will also say that in my experience, if I really wanted something, a next best option didn't really scratch that itch and I ended up spending more.... so for me, I learned that if I really want something (not just bec it is popular), I'd rather buy the actual item.
Haha! Yes, the Evelyn has always given me middle aged mum vibes so I’ve stayed away. (And I am a middle aged mum) it’s practical but the silhouette lacks style. The perforated H looks kind of tacky like those Anya hindmarch bags that used to be all over the place. The jypsiere is a much better and stylish crossbody option from H, but all I see in my area are those Evelyn bags! I think of it as the starter bag from Hermes.
I actually agree with everything you said😆 I only like the mini evelyn, the larger ones ate too mumsy lol! Also, I did film a disclaimer saying exactly what you said! If you have your heart set on something, absolutely go for the exact one and not settle etc but I cut it out as the video was getting too long😂 may be I should’ve kept it in!

Hi Isabelle, after your video i really need to think again about the LV Speedy 20. Yeah it is more expensive than the 25 which is crazy. I am thinking of the alternative too but i am just afraid that i may still want the LV Speedy 20 or will still think of it even if i get the alternative. I do not love the price and the strap for the Speedy 20 but i love the Damier Ebene one. The Celine triomphe and monogram are becoming much more recognizable and common. Gucci is and has been all over the place just like LV monogram….I still love the Gucci mono! It is and will always be my favorite monogram. What I’m getting tired of is everyone having the same/boring classics. When people branch out and choose bags that speak to them, they exude personal style.people need to let go of the notion of classics, must haves, and quiet luxury and just go for what they love. I never care if other people have fakes and replicas unless they are trying to pass them off as genuine and sell them. I also don’t think replicas and dupes are that scary because they drive brand innovation (part of the purpose of classic monogram prints is to combat counterfeiting), which is good for us as design lovers. I guess I can understand people not wanting the same package as everyone else, but if it's a good *condup* whether authentic or not, it makes sense that more people would want it
