I love the message delivered by Manny as I watch it again to see if I saw what I thought I saw...he could have delivered it differently but I think Tatis Jr will have an appreciation for it a few years down the road. The Padres aren't short on player leadership it's the top down to the field Manager that needs work. The players don't need a Tingley feeling coursing through them.

  • Did I misinterpret things or was that 4 strikes there? Two curveballs for strikes, then a couple balls, another curve for strike 3 and then the fastball for strike 4.

  • I have felt for the longest time that the Padres need an old school veteran manager. A leader. A General. Who? Bruce f'in' Bochy. At this point, Jack McKeon with a walker at 90 is better than Andy Green & Jayce Tingler the past few years. Those kind of guys are lifelong bench coaches and nothing more.
