@@mikieeco1This farm doesn’t rely on a central skulker but instead relies on shulkers shooting each other and so will likely die, name tagged or not within the first minute of running the farm, but will have by then produced enough other shulkers to keep the farm running. Unfortunately because of this, there is a small chance that all the shulkers die without duplicating which is what happened in xisumas case. luckily, getting a shulker anywhere in the farm is enough to get it running again. What you can do though is create a bank of shulkers that is close enough to the farm that shulkers in the farm can teleport there when there is empty space so that you have a bank of shulkers ready to be put back into the farm if it ever runs out of shulkers again.
Could you also put in testing if the redstone lamp adjacent still lights up if it receives a power signal of one and no greater? (Work's been keeping me away from My computer recently).

The mossy guy is cute but maybe too big to be on top of a building. Though in the middle of a forest it would be perfect.

On the mail statue, I would prefer the green-mossy one, however, instead of the barrel, I would use Grian's "Red Mailbox" on a bigger scale.
I think the scale of the first one is more in line with your base, but Mossy should be hiding in a forest around somewhere! You could call the first statue fella Pat! (as in Postman Pat!)
I would have thought a rooted dirt store in a block game would be called "SQUARE ROOT". But then again it is a block game so "CUBE ROOT".

I love the little street of shops that have formed, there’s something so magical about buildings that have strong themes to them. Kind of realism mixed with fantasy!
That statue protecting the mail could be named " *chain mail* ", in honor of chain armor. It works two ways, 1) it's a word play, and 2) it's an important part of the game's history, being one of the first armors added to the game, and the most difficult to obtain.
Mossy the nail man is ridiculously derpy and oversized, and I couldn't love it any more if I tried. This is what Minecraft is about! Just big silly fun builds!

Tip for moving bonemeal fast though hoppers, make bonebocks out of them and have a bonemeal crafter at each output and boneblock crafter at each input.
I would agree but he is un-crafting bone blocks at the start to make the meal so to do that would be odd work ... but this is x after all :)

It may be worth it to craft the bone meal into blocks for storage and "logistics" and craft them back at each farm where needed
I think it would be better to move bone blocks through the system and craft into bone meal at the use location. It's more crafters, but you will have essentially 9x hopper speed for bone meal.
Mossy needs to be included somewhere! A hidden temple to him in the forest would be perfect
you should totally use minecart chests to move the bonemeal around so you can see all these rail lines weaving back and forth throughout the area which will totally give it this super cool factory vibe! it's also more visual than just a bunch of pipes

X, an idea here from a video I saw regarding your bonemeal silo setup for the farm distribution (I forget the OG credit for this concept). You can auto craft the bonemeal to bone blocks from the bonemeal farm and connect it to the shulker box unloader output. Then you take that hopper line of bone blocks and input it into a crafter. The crafter aims downward directly into a chest boat that sits on 9 hoppers. This way, when bonemeal is crafted 9 bonemeal is automatically put in the boat and each hopper takes one. If done correctly you can have up to 9 independent hopper lines. I used this concept for my piglin bartering farm w gold blocks.

Hey Xisuma, I suggest you plan a sky access to your storage room, with a powder snow carpet floor. I did it for mine and it is very convenient!
can you rocket threw a snow floor and if so would you splat if you were waring leather boots?
@@Amokrahe means make a hole in the roof, and make the floor powder snow covered in carpet. Then you can fly as fast as you want into the floor and take zero damage.

X, I absolutely love the idea of a tree growing through the rooted dirt shop wall(s). I would so love to see Bdubs help you with that, I think he'd make it look amazing. Maybe you two could collaborate on that!

I love Mossy the Mailman! I think if you did full blocks instead of stairs to remove his mouth, he would be a bit more fierce looking rather than slightly derpy. I think the moss guy looks cool (love the trident/spear/pitch fork he’s holding) I think he’s a bit large for that building. Him in the forest would look cool. I do however think you could go slightly bigger scale with your current mail-man statue. 2x2 head scale. Just my opinion 🤷♂️ Season 10 might be my favorite hermit season yet

For the BoneMeal transfer Bottleneck, I was thinking maybe it would help to move the bonemeal around in Block Form and then at each farm that uses it, craft the BoneMeal itself which would also allow for a small reserve capacity at each farm while moving essentially 9 times hopper speed. Love the progress and the MossMail man is adoreable~! Apologies if my bonemeal idea has already been mentioned in other comment, there are so many its hard to read them all !!
You can add some redtsone logic so farm stays active until it reaches a certain threshhold (to prevent bonemeal farm being turned on/off frequently) using 2 different comparator signals and a t-flip-flop.

Statistically there is no such thing as a perfect shulker farm as there is always a possibility it fails enough times in a row that the farm breaks. The only way to get around that is to store up shulker outside of the farm and be able to refill the farm when it inevitably breaks

I like the smaller statue better for on your build but I love the mossy mullet as well! Maybe you can fit him somewhere else as a standalone guy, he really fits the overgrown vibe of your base and terrain perfectly!
Love the mossy man / trident holder. But I agree with others that it is a little too big on top of a building but next to it or in the forest would be cool :)
What about "Pat" for the statue protecting the mail? Plays on Postman Pat (And his little black and white cat), and ties in with the British post boxes as well.

It might be best to store and move the bone meal in blocks, and recraft it in bone meal at the farms themselves. It might alleviate the bottle neck a bit.

you should pack the bonemeal into blocks, then pack the blocks into shulker boxes for the silo, unpacking them from the buffer at the bottom of the silo.

I think the Mossy statue looks great but would be out of scale. It needs to go somewhere but maybe not with the temples. That being said, the statue you did put at the beacon kinda looks like it's wearing chain mail armor so maybe it could be called "Spam"?

Just a reminder X, you can place a slab above a beacon beam and it still works, so no need to have a hole in the roof.

I built endingcredits’s V2 scaffolding-based shulker farm on my server. I’m swimming in shells. Amazing. It only broke once in a whole week. A problem with the mindcarts. Easy fix. 👍🏻
People whose bonemeal farms I have seen over the last few weeks: Keralis, Doc, Etho, Cub, Xisuma, Grian (I'm sure there's more). And I don't want to dunk on the hermits, it's fine, you need that stuff. And it's kind of a big project, so why waste that 'content'. But it really tells you something about the gamedesign of minecraft, if everyone playing the game more seriously needs to build one of those before doing any other big project. My personal opinion: Bone meal has too many uses and it reduces potential creativity; if it was possible to get certains plants through different mechanics, I would much prefer that. Take chorus fruit, cacti, vines, melons/pumpkins, nether wart for example. Most of them are useful items and can be farmed mostly automatically but none of them require bonemeal. It's also kind of sad that the bee fertilization mechanic gets used so little because bonemeal is legion.

I had a very weird idea. I wish you could have a piglin brute in the overworld so you could have a mascot be bruted Kurt who sells rooted dirt. I don't know kind of unhinged not sure why I was looking for a gimmick
With the bonemeal silo would it not be better to have the silo store the items as boneblocks and then have the boneblocks be uncrafted at the farm instead? That way you can have 9x more storage in the silo and in turn have more backup for running all the farms
