We definitely need to! Israel has claimed a total of ~8% of ALL US Foreign AID given out since WW2. There are 195 countries in the world, yet Israel claimed almost 1/10th of the total AID. That's baffling, outsized, and unnecessary. Israel (in size and population) is comparable to New Jersey.

Israel should not delay rafah for any reason. If the lopsided deal for the hostages is accepted then Israel will have to forget about rafah. The US will make sure that it prevents Israel from going into rafah once it goes the deal route. I hope Israel realizes that.

Sorry, but Hamas has not been honest at any of these negotiations and thye always seem to fall thru after they get what they want. There is supposedly about hostages left. sources say that more than half of those are actually dead, and have been for awhile now. Hamas will use the few remaining live hostages to buy them some time, and when it gets down to all they have left are dead hostages that they try to parade as being alive, they will prey on the emotions of families and loved ones of those hostages that were killed, who are still holding out hope that their loved ones are still alive. This pressure will keep Israel inline only for so long, until these families realize they are being used by Hamas and their loved ones have been actually been dead quite awhile now.

The 1948 deal was the Arab nations attacking Israel because the local militias couldn't wipe Israel out. Also, if the Arab nations Egypt Jordan etc. would have won there wouldn't be a Palestinian state of course not the locals would have been happy to be under Egyptian or Jordian rule this war is not about land
