WHY DOESN'T ANYONE CLEAN ALL THAT GARBAGE UP?!?! 🤔 This has got to be the #1 question we get asked in our video comments! Despite the brutal summer heat bearing down on the southwest and temps over 110°F (43°C), we decided to BE THE CHANGE we all clearly want to see. With water levels slowly rising again, time is of the essence as these ground and the litter may very well be under water again soon. Notice that as we are driving out the ground is becoming saturated again as the water slowly seeps it's way back into the dry harbor.
Enjoy this short preview of the coming full length video, where we will answer all your questions around the issue including why garbage isn't just "garbage" inside areas managed by the National Park Service.
We have been VERY busy outside KZhead lately but have some big announcements (and a lot of new content) on the way. Thank you for staying patient as we embark on several exciting ventures including new merch designs, artwork, adventure episodes, and of course water level updates - ALL COMING SOON! ⏳👇

  • A lot of people are complacent and don't care about their own health and for some the Earth is a giant trash can for their personal use.😔 Thank you for your service, I appreciate it ✌️

    • You are right unfortunately, we are a disposable society now. Thanks for leaving a comment and motivating us! It's good to know other folks feel the same and are tired of the filth 👍

  • Whoa! Putting action on the to do list! Instead of saying Who is going to clean this up? Very interesting you did this without one word, made it more powerful. Thank you!

  • Nice job guys! Hopefully more will follow your example. What a shame that some of that is recent trash. 😡

    • The more I see the more I agree. Hard to not become jaded these days. I know it will most likely be trashed again after the next weekend but we will keep on keepin' on...

  • The answer to your question is trashy people leave a trail of destruction wherever they go. ... A homeless camp will tell you all you need to know. It's a shame what society has become -- even those with jobs and families still act like scum when it comes to leaving their trash for others to clean-up.

    • Short and well said 👍 The homeless don't have resources for city trash removal but the people who come to recreate outdoors have no excuse. The so-called "civilized" city folk out for some weekend fun are usually the worst. They often preach the most about saving the Earth and all too...

  • I walk every day, 3-5 miles. I walk by a park, and within the park there are tables. Not 10' away are trash cans; each can serve 2 tables. (you know what I am going to say). Every morning, as I pass the tables, there is trash at or near the tables, but not more than a few feet from the trash can. I don't get it...why? Is it some self-power play for some people? Are they that self-absorbed that they can't walk a couple of feet to throw away their trash. Sadly, if you caught them and called them on it, they would attempt to justify their immature actions, or worse, attempt to argue 'it's not your business' bs. Sad commentary about our Country and some of its people in it.

    • Oh yeah I see that too. I think it's the self-absorbed thing in my opinion. Same with the people who leave dog poop all over the community when there are bags and waste stations provided all over the paths. I can't imagine what some of these folks homes look like. They most likely just treat nature and the outdoors like they do their own personal spaces.
