I agree with the "rubber seals" complaints-just a nuisance issue for no good reason.
at one point in your video mention something about a 48GB capacity for memory (39:15). Asus says 32GB, but I went with what you said and got a "compatible" 32GB DDR5 4800 stick from Crucial. Initially it posted, but quickly froze ( I managed to get into system info and seen it as 48GB installed before this). Restarted it and it would not post. Removed the stick, posted fine. Reinstalled the new one, it posted but quickly blue screened with a bios error. Removed and it worked fine. Reinstalled, it posted but blue screened again this time with another error. I removed it again and it posted fine. So I wonder if the 48 is "too much" for the system, or if the stick is bad.
Dang! That would be a bummer if you can’t do 48. I know the 2021 versions could do thr 48 gb. Might just be compatibility with the ram type. Maybe try to get the identical Hynix ram that is being used in the scar series?
@@GizmoSlipTech oddly enough after getting ahold of Crucial , I went home later that day and reinstalled the module and guess what, all is well. After all those problems it just worked? Well stranger things have happened right lol

The G14 4070 version is on sale right now. Otherwise, I would advise waiting for RTX 3060 to go on sale again for $799.

U can get the 2023 new from Best Buy for 999$ for the 6700s and 1299 for the 6800s. There is nothing about the 2023 4060 model that warrants the price versus those

The 2022 model had windows hello as well, plus the 4060 model performs the same or worse in most titles compared to the 6800s from last year as well
The nvidia runs cooler. Had 2 6700 gpu die on me. Bit the bullet with the 4060 so far no issues.

@@gulfcoaster210 I have to get an Nvidia card since the drivers aren’t good for rendering in blender For gaming it’s more power efficient I get it But the newer models have better warranty better cameras It’s up to what you’re looking for last year model you can get some pretty good deals And the 4060 is quieter and AMD haven’t updated their chipset for laptops, so Asus were forced with Nvidia But for a PC gaming amd the W rendering and general tasks *Nvidia is the way to go* Currently, there’s a Best Buy deal for the *4060 model *

if you did a fresh install of windows and installed graphics drivers from nvidia and still the flickering happened, better to return it.

Should i consider this instead of Zephyrus G16 4060 which you reviewed? i7 vs Ryzen 9, 16' FHD+ vs 14' QHD, DDR4 vs DDR5 and greater battery in G14 based on your review. I play a lot of DoTA and worried G14 would heat up more and be uncomfortable. Or do they have near same temps and I should go for g14 as it has a better hardware
You can run dota smoothly just on 7940hs integrated gpu. Check benchmarks , the laptop will be cool
Both would be good options, depending on what you are looking for. In some ways, the G16 with a FHD+ display offers more FPS because of the lower resolution and less VRAM limitations at the same time. But that will depend on the games you play too. Boht will do great in Dota 2.
You don't have to worry if you're just playing dota. Just go with if you want a bigger screen or more portability with a 14 inch. Of course the thermals will be better on the bigger version but even with worse thermals on the 14 incher, dota will be more than fine.

Around 1850€ for r9, 4060, 1tb, 16gb ram, qhd panel (not the mini led) and it's black sadly. Other models have animematrix and cost around 2300€ maybe. Prices are for what I found in Romania. But unlike us, I'm pretty sure you have more than what... 3 online stores you can check?

You can use the same Apple charger on this, it will only charge at 100w and will not charge / discharge while gaming because it uses more than 100w while gaming

Im certain the fps can be higher still especially in Warzone if you add another 16gb of RAM to get actual dual channel. Regardless ill probably aim for at least the 4070 in the US. The 4070 has more storage and i agree with you regarding the 4080 version and above. As long as the battery life is close enough the Stealth seems better at lower specs
