  • BlameF was so predictable man, every time they took a site or were rushing somehwere the opposing team knew for sure that blame was out somewhere lurking and waiting for a lurk frag. His stats seem good until you factor in the fact that he saves a lot plus he was rated as one of the highest eco fraggers. His stats are inflated because of that. In the end it seemed as tho he was calling for himself not for his team as a whole. He put himself in good positions not his team. for an Eco round he'd go con on top bathrooms to reap easy frags but never send somebody else. Karrigan or Snapppi would probably say hey go hunt, go get some easy kills, cuz they knows it builds confidence. Which is why I wish they got Snappi or Glaive back because Blame is a good player just nto a good IGL.

  • To be fair to Dexter Australia doesn't even have a second best team. Its just Grayhound and then 15 other dudes endlessly shuffling around three bedroom orgs. Seriously what the fuck is a rooster, bad news kangaroos?? Last year the best team in aus was "Looking for org"... A decade ago there was genuine competition, Vox Eminor, Immunity, Chiefs, SYF, new up and coming teams like corvidae, Athletico etc. The Aus scene is dead an buried. Dexter couldn't even lose a map to these teams in Australia. The only way forward for Grayhound is to move to Europe or just give up. Just hurry up an mercy kill us, no more IEM sydney, no more Dreamhack Melbourne, no more rmr slots, whats the fucking point.

  • Hot take possibly but k0nfig entry fragging on Astralis gave blameF domain to zone off the map. BlameF as igl was a surprise but at the same time he was able to execute some very coordinated ultility plays like old Astralis. That being said he had much more impact as a lurker but only with a entry fragger that can pull rotations confidently/effectively like k0nfig. BlameF has some of the best aggressive lurking in CS when given the chance. igl is not the move put him back on the role he shines at.

  • As an Australian player it's fully true and I support that sentiment tbh. The way that teams play usually isn't conducive to any meaningful prac but regardless Grayhound and dexter as a team should still be performing better as they have more resources to fulfil their scrim requirements. It shouldn't be an excuse but is definitely a large component in their failure to make it.

He knew this but still held it ready-to-go in his back pocket as an excuse. Secondly, if you want to be the best and play against the best in the biggest tournaments and know that Australia has a weak scene why the fuck would he be there? At least make sure you get practice time in Eu or make your time in Australia work for you not against you. I'm not shitting on Dexter and he probably posted out of frustration but I don't really sympathise with takes like that.
