    • we might not care, but they do, and so does Hollywood - an oscar-nominated and then oscar winner make significantly more money for their roles. This is irrelevant only for a select few such as Downey Jr who has profit-sharing with his marvel movies (which will continue to make him bank for years and years)

TIP for anyone watching, the Director's Cut of the movie answered all my major questions, wish it was the actual release, they do a great job of explaining the more mystical aspects of the film, still has a sense of mystery but was much more satisfied with the ending and understood what was happening a lot better, saddens me there are so many people who haven't seen that version of it

  • His performance in Nightcrawler completely blew my mind. Lucky for me, i didn't see any trailers or teasers and i knew nothing about the film, because it came out in a time i was busy with a lot of stuff, and one night i was free, and checked my local cinema for a movie, and this was playing in an hour, so i thought, heck why not. Holy crap that was one of the best "heck why not's" of my life. Nightcrawler was way better than i thought it would be, it totally captivated me, i was held hostage in the cinema. This doesn't happen often to me, that a movie can totally trap me like that, and it's mainly because of Jake's performance. I wish i could see that movie over and over and over, like that first time.

The first two at least, with him talking about his time with denis villeneuve and the extraordinary difference in the two films that were released so close together. And then end of watch which still stands as the only of its kind to this day. It was the type of film I thought would be copied on several different levels and just never would, probably because of how difficult it would be to make. And how much more difficult it would be to top. Either way, I love this video, and I love this man as an actor with a true passion.
