    • Its really not that hard for master level players to recite games (hence how they can play blindfolded). Normal people have no clue how much better a chess master is. It's not even a contest, and that's an impressively great player in the general population. It's even a favorite against most great college players. But Hikaru is like a first team All-NBA player (top 20 in the league, maybe top 5) playing against that same rotation player: he's going to dominate even a decent NBA starter (aka an average GM), let alone a rotation player.
