Plus you needed his genetics to not be inbred greedy pos, and he'll leave you only to follow. The best doesn't have to help or forgive you. • Alright. I really appreciated the skill of the pipers & how tight the snare drums were, and I marveled at how consistent the bass drummer was, as well as his insistence on tempo when he felt things lagging. But having been a Marine musician in an Air Wing band, MEF band & base band, I know that our tradition is no one, and I mean absolutely no one breaks our ranks, so when I saw folks filming and going through he band I got so stressed I had to stop. How a drummer didn't take one out I haven't a clue - I was trying to and I haven't played in a parade in almost 40 years. Well done! Made a fellow musician, now disabled and barely able to walk, sit proud.

He met King George while there. He told me the first two lines of barbed wire were difficult but the by the time you got to the third line of barbed wire that was where the machine guns were and they suffered terrific losses. She's also just introduced the subject of 'white privelege' into the Scottish curriculum where 5 year olds will be brainwashed into believing their ancestors were butchers and maniacs. Pay attention to her actions, not the words she uses during the election campaign. Those words are just to keep her in power and she's no intention of fulfilling them.

  • Love and admire the Jock Regts- so much colour, character and elan about them. The Scots have a long established, and hard won reputation as superb fighting soldiers. They are stoical, extremely tough and durable with terrific spirit. Best infantry soldiers in the world. It's no accident that there are plenty of Jocks in both Para Regt and the SAS- the cream always rises. During WW2, the British infantry division that the Germans feared most was the 51st Highland Div- reformed and rebuilt after being captured in France in 1940. During the Normandy campaign, the German's ensured that they placed an elite SS division in front of the 51st to prevent them breaking into the German defensive lines and causing havoc. It's documented in Wehrmacht archives- Fritz was extremely wary of the 51st. Great work by the P's & D's, good drill, great parade- superb effort by The Black Watch. I have a soft spot for The Watch. I was on a course in Vimy Lines, Catterick in 1996 along with lads from the Black Watch TA battalion. They were superb blokes and great to get on with, Barry, John and Gregor- Halcyon days! Hearing, 'Glendaruel Highlanders,' the regimental march of the now defunct Liverpool Scottish Regt (TA) was a major highlight from a personal perspective. Very well done boys- proud of you all. *RESPECT* from England!
