• Zen Koans, Stories, Poems
The Gateless Gate (The Gateless Barrier), is a collection of 48 Zen koans compiled in the early 13th century by the Chinese Zen master Wumen Huikai. The title has a double meaning and can also be understood as Wumen's Barrier; the compiler's name, which literally means "No Gate", is the same as the title's first two characters. Wumen's preface indicates that the volume was published in 1228. Each koan is accompanied by a commentary and verse by Wumen. A classic edition includes a 49th case composed by Anwan in 1246. Wu-liang Tsung-shou also supplemented the volume with a verse of four stanzas composed in 1230 about the three checkpoints of Zen master Huanglong. These three checkpoints of Huanglong should not be confused with Doushuai's Three Checkpoints found in Case 47.

  • I think I got it But funny this is that as soon as I started typing this and talking about it, I lost it I think it’s pretty simple. It’s about seeing life without the filter of cognition and abstraction on top of it But of course, as soon as you start putting it into words, the concept becomes a cognitive abstraction It’s not really about attaining anything. It’s about getting the thinking mind to shut up, and stop trying to put life into boxes But just reading this won’t do you any good, because you’ll take this information and treat it as an abstract concept

    • The closer you are to truth, the less you can express it with words. Words are by their very nature limiting. At any moment, everything is both good and bad. Words artificially limit the world into yes or no, good or bad. We need a new language. Then we’d all be zen already as this wouldn’t be a mystery but obvious.

  • When two Zen masters meet they need no introduction. Thieves recognise each other instantly. Two travelling monks arrive at a river crossing and discuss animatedly best ways to pass. Nearby, a woman is sobbing. When asked she explains that the river is too strong and too deep for her to cross. Whereupon, the bolder monk scoops her up upon his shoulders and wades through the water. After taking their leave from the now grateful woman, the two monks resume their journey under a strained and embarrassed silence. "Is something wrong?" asks the bold monk. "You seem to have forgotten your vow never to touch a woman!" he chides. "Ah," replies the bolder monk "I picked up the woman on the other shore and put her down again on this shore; yet you, brother, are still carrying her!"

It's like putting down all the labels you and others gave to you and your mind though that it was what you are, suddenly collapsed. What's left after was an eternal being aware of his existence without body/mind. So "I" was never born and will never die and I was ONE with the Universe. Actually I and the Universe were not separated thing it was me. So my orginal face is "eternal conciousness" with no face and with all the faces...sat chit ananda🙏❤

  • This only tells about the subtle nuances of life we see everyday and seek to or rather feel compelled to offer an explanation but the meaning is lost the moment we do so or becomes more complicated in the explanation. And we know To remain silent is a crime on love and to explain is crime on the senses. What does one do? You are detested if you don't teach it...yet if you do you confuse it. Ahhhh this life!! Yet without this very element understanding would be impossible to so many different personalities nor would the one truth be discernable in the so many different experiences of life. It more possible for the teacher to tell a student what the truth is NOT than what it IS. This knowledge is personal/experiential.

  • Zen is an interesting ideology. Each persons understands a koan in their own way. Wasting your life by merely sensing??? No "right" answers. No "objective" answers. The function of Koans is to promote meditation, reflection. There is no one answer to "what is mooo". It is what you " imagine " it to be at any point in time and may change at a different point in time.

  • Satori experience is possible. I had a taste if enlightenment twice in my life, but I could keep it. As quickly as the deep insight appeared in my mind, it left. It was an understanding that could not be conveyed in words. Trying to find the right words to describe the idea is what made me loose it. The first time I had read something about non-self. I was daydreaming about what it meant whilst driving my car across town as one does from time to time. My mind wandered far and wide and completely on something else. Something about this made me think this might be what non-self meant.

Either way, "Being Here" is both the cost of passage, and the weight of crossing. You, having come "HERE", must now endure "EXPERIENCE" without hope of having an escape.   • 🧘‍♂️THE TECHNIQUE👁️ The goal of this technique is to activate your Pineal and Pituitary Glands/ Third Eye. Begin by laying down in a safe place. Do a basic meditation to relax your body and clear your mind. Once you are relaxed, you are going to start squeezing and expanding your brain. Your brain is attached to muscles and tendons that let you expand and squeeze it. Bring your focus to your forehead and try squeezing and expanding your frontal lobe. Concentrate and keep trying until you can get it. Once you can feel it moving then move to the center of your brain, (this is where the glands are located, the Eye of RA) and do the same thing. Squeeze then stretch it out, feel it expand as if past your skull, squeeze, expand... After a few minutes move to the back of your brain where the Claustrum is located. This is where the Sacred Oil is produced. Do the same, squeeze, expand over and over. Once you get the hang of it, start doing it in a wave motion from the front to the back. Continue squeezing and expanding repeatedly until you can start to feel the fluids moving, such as mucus running down the back of your throat. Some people, myself included, experience something that sounds and feels like a crust breaking off the outside of your brain, this is normal. The objective is to get your brain working, you have never used it like this before. Once you get the fluids moving you want to push the Oil from the Claustrum in the back of the brain down the back of the spine, down your nervous system and back up the front. Using your back muscles, push the fluid down the back of your spine to the bottom. Squeezing your muscles in your lower area like your buttocks and sphincter. Then start pushing the fluid up the front of your spine. Men as well as women have kegel muscles, use these like a pump. Using your stomach and your chest muscles, continue pushing the fluid up the front of your spine into your brain, pumping the fluid up the front of the nervous system into the Pineal and Pituitary Glands, the Promised Land of Milk and Honey. Continue repeating this pattern, from the front of your brain to the back of your brain, down the back of your spine to the bottom, and up the front of your spine into your brain. Repeat this process as long as you can. When I did this I was not staring at a clock but it felt like an hour. Realistically I would say 15 to 30 minutes. I did it until all of a sudden I couldn't close my eyes! Not even to blink. This lasted for several minutes. At first I thought I broke my brain! As soon as I was able to relax enough to barely close my eyes, I slipped... Some things to note: 1. I know to a lot of people this sounds weird, (like it's not already weird) but you need to make sure that the Moon is in your Sun Star sign. The Moon affects the fluids in your body and helps the Oil be created. 2. The ancient gnostic text talk about sexual abstinence in order to get this to work. I refrained from having sex for two weeks before I did this. 3. Make sure you are in a good place in your head and that you have pure thoughts. Because if you don't, you won't go all the way to the end and meet the Light. 4. If this does not work the first time, try decalcifying your brain for six months and then come back and try again. I put in a reverse osmosis machine under my kitchen sink for $150.00 and I quit using fluoride toothpaste. Fluoride calcifies the pineal gland, which is what we are trying to activate. 5. This last one is a WARNING. Working on yourself is PARAMOUNT beforehand so that you have the best positive experience you can. Also, you need those skills for afterwards. I was super high for about 2 weeks and then I became insanely negative. It took a lot of hard work to crawl out of that hole and then maintain the connection, so you need to be prepared for that mentally. SUICIDE HAS OCCURRED IN THE UNPREPARED. THIS IS LIFE CHANGING. Make sure you have some good meditation techniques. Maybe have a friend handy to lean on a little. In my experience I was granted one wish, I wanted to be emotionally healed from the damage caused by being an innocent man on death row. I was also gifted with a vision. The Chrystal Light Being touched my heart in order to heal it so that I could love my family properly, and it showed me that everyone on Earth has this Light Being inside of them. Everyone will have their own experience. This is how to have a true Kundalini Awakening, but it's also called the Anointing of the Christ/Chrism Oil, the return of Christ is the return of this knowledge to you.   • This gateless gate ideology is quite intriguing. So I pondered upon the Internet, WiFi system/business. I like the idea of open space WiFi. For example if you in a neighbourhood of say ten or twenty houses, if everyone share their WiFi password to each other, then this whole neighbourhood would be a open WiFi hotspot for all it's neighbours. (Whether walking, riding, driving in this particular neighbourhood) When no password is shared among each neighbours in this same neighbourhood it create gates, the gateless gate, you see when your device is connected with WiFi the reception becomes much better, when you leave your home and is no longer in range of your WiFi, you should connect easily with the next neighbour then the next neighbour and so on and so forth and eliminate these gateless gates. He who controls our airspace and airwaves and frequencies are operators of these gates. The Internet has gateless gates.

    • Isn't the symbolism the same? It's a gateless gate. It distinguished one area from another and defines an "entering point", yet it provides no difficulty to overcome. Normally a gate is supposed to lock or seal an entrance or exit, but this one is purposefully open and not only that, it's functionally unclosable. The only thing you have to overcome to truly enter is yourself.

  • I'm all about sweets and Easy Living. But it's not really easy living it's much harder than you might think. I am lazy and I am in contemplation all of the time. I am learning to focus on self and I am becoming nothing. I smoke cannabis daily and sometimes I drink. I enjoy the pleasures of food and if I had money I would have a woman to fulfill my sexual desires and would eat the most opulent foods and exist in the most opulent surroundings. I used to ask a question, why am I here? What is all this about? I've given that up out of laziness. For me, laziness is an art and I would have so much more if I would just work more but like so many others I'm just not interested in anything anymore other than sense gratification. If I could, I would fulfill all of the pleasures of this body but I also know that I am not this body and if I could I would lose all self-identity if possible.

    • I relate. I've a keen awareness that the pleasures I indulge in bring me pain when partaken in excess. If I can tolerate the pain, I continue; if I cant, I pause. I don't seek salvation in my pleasures and so I have no guilt in them. They're just passing forms. There is nothing here that is the full meaning or reason.
