  • Hi Carlos, I stumbled upon your video and I know it was not a mishap. I am 68 years old and Oct9 is my 69th bday! First let me tell you I understand your feelings. You know you’re right life has ups and downs the way we get thru those times is by knowing that God is with us and that He will get us thru what comes our way. He has a good plan for our lives, Jeremiah 29:11, we just need to trust Him with it. Look it’s a bit scary bringing a life into this world! With it comes a huge responsibility! And you seem to be the kind of person who likes structure in their life and may be a bit of a perfectionist! I am too! Give yourself some slack! Pray! Ask God to give you what you need and He will whether it’s to know how to love your baby (which you will the moment you hold her in your arms) and also to give you a heart of grace and compassion for others. Usually where one person is weak the other is strong! You have a bright future ahead of you! God adores you so look forward to all the many blessings ahead!! God bless you!

  • I love the transparency while also keeping your life private. I appreciate how open you are about going to therapy as a man. Conversations around men’s mental health is scarce and I’m glad to see that men have you as a resource. Your daughter is so lucky to have a father that actively works on himself, admits when he needs help, and takes time away when needed. I’m excited to see your transformation in the future!

  • I know from studying phycology on a spiritual level, studying myself and those around me, sometimes lack of empathy comes from lack of emotional support as a child when you're sad, mad, throwing temper tantrums etc..., but being praised for your achievements all the time. A lot of guardians don't support their child emotionally, tell them to get over it, don't cry, suck it up..etc this becomes a learned behavior, and as we get older we expect other people to do the same instead of processing their emotions to release them, which releases that specific trauma. This is coming from an empathetic person (I was not empathetic before) hope this helps someone ❤

    @Effortlesseaze@Effortlesseaze8 ай бұрын
    • How were you able to become more empathetic?

      @krystalmarie5637@krystalmarie56377 ай бұрын
    • @@krystalmarie5637 I would say doing shadow work and not disassociating from self while doing it and substaining it thereafter. Doing shadow work connects you back to your true essence, which is releasing generational curses and or karmic debt if we're speaking on spiritual checks & balances. Understanding that your guardians/parents genetically speaking are just continuing the cycle of whatever it is that we suffer with. Nobody broke that specific cycle and I feel through understanding that, and doing shadow work, you start to become more empathetic in the process. A lot of people hold grudges towards their parents or guardians for what they've done, they just don't understand karmic debt & that they have to go through certain things to clear their bloodlines karma. The only way out is through. You have to go through the dark side.I know I got a little deep but I will say this last thing, we mainly incarnated in the earth realm to come back to our true selves and to clear our karma, but as you look around, most people are always trying to escape from their demons(thought forms) through work, co dependency, drugs...etc etc. But to feel for others, you would have to feel for yourself first because everything is always mirroring back to you what you need to work on. Crazy how the world really works.

I’m glad you developed the discipline of routine but bringing a child into the world is going to require lots of flexibility and learning how to pivot when plans change moment by moment. Keep a positive attitude and enjoy life. #Cheers to your baby girl on the way.

  • I just saw your KZhead this year. Great content. Congratulations on your first child. I see it as the norm for a man to go through a phase while becoming a father, especially if you're one of those good guys who have a community of people that knows who you are.... some people who were once in your circle would play with your head a little bit because they might be hoping to be the one instead of who you're with. That's facts and predictable when you're in the public eye. You give great content. And congrats to both of you. Choye!

I’ve felt what you’ve described, and I encourage the following: TAKE YOUR TIME, Carlos, take your time, man. There will come a day when you will look upon these times and realize you persevered through what was ailing you, which may be grooming and pruning you to be what you need to be to become your best self. This may also help with you developing empathy as you mentioned, for you as well before giving it to anyone else. Forgive yourself repeatedly, and lastly, hold to self-love more during times too. It’ll tip the scales. Finally, congratulations on becoming a father soon. Enjoy the West Coast, too. Sincerely, Someone who extends 🫴🏾🕊
