The UglyTruck is a was born from the idea that I'd prefer a dented and faded race truck that performs over a shiny show quality truck thats slow and stock, and I picked the worst looking truck I could find, and the UglyTruck was born! Sure, its gotten a lot less ugly over the last two years, but my absolute favorite part is what's under the hood: a turbocharged big block that makes over 1,100 lb.ft. of torque at the tires. Phase 2.0 of the UGT project will consist of a 535 cubic inch Gen VII Big Block that can make 1,700 horsepower, a 4x4 conversion for insane launches, a @HolleyPerformance Dominator EFI system, and lots more!

It took awesome mechanic and fabricator skills to get there along with time management/sharing with your other projects, but you got it there and still running well. Congrats, LT!!!     • I wouldn’t say 4x4 is better as a blanket statement since you are correct a 2wd has its advantages, but I like the advantages a 4x4 provides despite the complexity and added weight

  • Man, this is the inspiration I needed. I’ve got a 2003 gmc Sonoma. My plan is to get a wrecked corvette, Camaro or trans-am. And put literally everything on it. And get a 4.8 ls and do a massive single turbo and make it the “ sleepin’ sonoma”
