This song is actually about an antipsychotic medication named olanzapine that saved her life in relation to mental illness (my biggest enemy is me, pop a 911) when she was rushed to the E.R due to a psychotic break. The same thing happened to me and I had to be put on the same exact medication, she stated how her whole body went numb, she could do nothing but scream, it’s terrifying and nobody should ever have to experience a psychotic break, it is absolutely horrifying and indescribable when you’re completely ripped from reality, feeling like you’re trapped in an endless void, you feel like everything is out to hurt or kill you, becoming completely and absolutely emotionally blunted unable to express any feelings, completely dissociated from reality, unable to come to terms with anything around you, completely lost. There is truly nothing more traumatic than a psychotic break. Recovery time is different for everyone, it can take as little as 1 week to over a year. But I’m happy I’m still alive and survived the internal torment to let people know how strong they really are and how crucial mental health really is.

True! Now, our threshold is so low for crap pop music Artpop doesn’t seem so bad. Back in the day it really was below average... in comparison to what was being released by other pop artists that year. Still, Chromatica is miles better than Artpop, it’s cohesive and not over produced unlike the latter, and thankfully this song is a bop.

This sounds like a darker version of the song ARTPOP, but has so many other elements, reminds me of Government Hooker with the pre-chorus, and the melody in the verses and chorus sound very Poker Face and Paparazzi even saying "PAPA notha one" basically, lol.

@@maxinicolas15 lady gaga has shifted pop multiple times, but regardless of that, she has been exhibiting her own style that we know her for with this album multiple times. and it's good. it's artistic consistency done RIGHT, without seeming copy-paste or stale/forgettable. the people love that aspect of Gaga, so she's providing something of a similar formula (with obvious changes, thus making it still uphold originality) so the core Gaga lovers KEEP loving. that's why people like Filotus will draw comparisons to other anthems, because Gaga serves anthem after anthem.
