  • Bears are 2-1 and Fields has a stat line of 22/45 for 297 yards. 2 TDs and 4 picks. Bears are taking "winning ugly" to a whole new level.

No uncertainty about getting pulled yet. The coaches and fans can't be putting this pressure and uncertainty on him. He needs to develop. This year isn't about playoffs. It is about the team working and getting wins. Pretty sure MSM had the bears at 4 wins this year? They are already halfway there in week 3.

    • @@devn266 I just honestly don’t think that’s going to help that much. As a pro quarterback there is no reason to consistently miss open guys. There was a play where St.Brown was completely wide open that he didn’t see but Kmet was somewhat open so he decided to make that throw attempt and he missed him by like 5 yards and got picked off. That fact that play ended up as an interception is just ridiculous. He will have time to throws at times and he still throws it right into coverage.

I also like seeing the bears win and figure things out so the end of the season division game is really competitive. I also want better play out of Fields, I really liked him coming out of OSU, but he needs to put some more effort into being a smarter QB. He has talent and he's shown flashes of being a franchise quarterback, but those INT's are going to catch up to him and not getting down quicker will cost his health. Good Luck moving forward Bears!

  • I had hope that Mills would improve coming into his second season coming off of a decent rookie season towards the end of the year but it’s looking like he has regressed. He leaves far too many points off the board and he has problems sustaining drives plus he can’t get the offense in position to score in the fourth quarter. I thought it was just a fluke in the first two games but it happened again and he gave the game away . That’s not a fluke , it’s a trend . I think It’s time to bench him and see what Kyle Allen can do . Can’t be any worse that what Mills is doing .

    • The problem is your coach.....Lovie is overrated .....he had one of the best defenses ....just stacked......and he made one SB.....and lost.....went to Illinois and ruined an already struggling program......nice guy.....not very bright though......Ditka was the last good head coach......Lovie will never get your offense into the top half......he barely knows defense.

  • I agree the Bears need to get more passing into the playbook. Been like that for the most part since McMahon left. I think Fields will be fine.

  • They need to let Justin throw and make mistakes, we're not winning anything this year. Lose and let him gain experience, he won't get any better when you're running it most of the game.

  • for all this talk about his final stat line, in the 2nd half when it mattered, fields made some huge throws.. need to see more attempts like that if we expect him to develop.

  • Nobody seems to talk about how good Herbert and Montgomery are for Chicago. Kahlil scored 2 touchdowns, the defense made significant plays, and Roquan Smith had the 1 takeaway interception that sealed Bears victory. I noticed the good looking helmets Chicago now has and truthfully I like them. For Pitre to have 2 picks for the Texans and record 1 full sack that is by far the most impressive stat for a corner playing in secondary. Fields throwing 2 interceptions almost cost his team the game. But anyways great work by Bears and the receiver St. Brown. Before the season started I chose Bears and Seattle to make a jump. Seahawks not really there yet with Geno Smith but it wouldn't surprise me if they got better with Lockett, Metcalf, Rashad Penny, Deejay Travis Homer, Fant, Coby Bryant Quandre Diggs and Woods with Jefferson. Excuse my comments people this wasn't a Seattle game. Just a matchup between Texans Bears who are very similar in play style. Chicago 2-1 record.

  • Justin can be great with his feet and the whole bears rushing attack is strong i feel they rely to much on it and pass when it’s too late
