Yep... Absolute best Surstromming challenge yet. I laughed so hard I cried. The gentleman in the center and the lady in the background reacting to the gentleman on the left, HILARIOUS! A laugh like that doesn't happen often, thank you!

Hello from the San Francisco area. I've been watching these videos for an hour or so and yours was totally priceless. I don't speak German but this was universal; I was right there with all of you - giggling and laughing (and almost peeing myself) but NOT gagging. I'm never ever ever trying this stuff!

It was of the camera crew that set things in motion , the challenge turned into holding it in from just the poor audiences degree of difficulty . The range of affect envelope us watching , a true best batch .

- ian bennett I’m a huge fan of canned fish. What is the purpose of fermented herring? It’s a really good fish when fresh. I’ve always been curious as to the reason why.

- @@benvasilinda9729 Just try It. But do it the right way, Open the Can underwater and outdoor, eat the fish on thin white bred, with fresh onions, cooked potatos and a lot of white creme. It is extreamly salty and fishy. Nothing very good but If you're into such food not that bad either. Ah yes, and some Surströming has still to be gutted and freed of the backbone.

- Emiliano Zapata ok well then I guess I’ll try and order some here to the US and give it a try. It’s seems rather expensive for canned fish but I’ll give it a go.

- @@benvasilinda9729 there is a fillet Variation that is already gutted. I also watched some videos where the fish is already dissolved - just Take a picture and demand a new one (shouldnt happen normaly but oh well...). Just remember, even eaten the right way the smell is gross! Absolutly dont open the can in a closed environment. Also, the taste isn't great - most will still think of it a bad. Do it as an adventure and I would recommend to do so with friends - If you hate the taste you still had a good laugh ;-) If you like it, even better :-)
