2014. The year I graduated. I played football, but nowhere near the 10 guys in featured in this video. So... did they live up to the hype?

Outro- The Fix by Aldous Young
You may notice a weird cut during Leonard Fournette section. I had to remove some content due to copyright. To get the jist of what I was saying, Fournette was completely dominant throughout his 3 seasons at LSU (he was a bit banged up his final year). Freshman year - 187 attempts 1034 rush yards 10 TDs Sophomore year - 300 attempts 1953 rush yards 22 TDs Junior Year - 129 attempts 843 rush yards 8 TDs 2015 consensus all-american

saying “and.. me” at the beginning had me rolling 😂😂
"undecided (no offers)" 🤣
Myles Garrett played at my HS and was a beast. He’s the reason my high school was rly put on the map for recruits and others. He didn’t come from one of those stacked high schools, he was the team.
No wonder he succeeded in Cleveland.
If he's so good how come he didn't get a single sack on me?
The only negative about Myles Garrett is that he couldn't get over the hump of carrying his team vs a DFW giant (DeSoto) Only JSN singlehandedly carried Rockwall Heath to beat #1 Allen in the playoffs.
Wow super cool thanks for sharing. Not
@@Luigiman_95 Honestly if u have Myles on your team, it’s not his fault if the team can’t win state. I love Coach but that’s on them.
Obligatory "2014 WAS 10 YEARS AGO 😱" comment
Bro, I was 11 in 2014… I’m going to be 21 this June. 😱
@@tromboneman4517I was 7 in 2014, I’ll be 17 in July, insane
@@pablobotello-torres1853really bro who knew
I was 24 in 2014. I am old.
Honestly, I was coming to comment that. I was thinking “why are we doing this prospects so soon?” And then I was like “it was 10 years ago…” lol
That 2017 RB Draft class is absurd. McCaffrey, Mixon, Kamara, Cook, Jones, Hunt, Conner, Fornette ...
Goat
Don't forget my man Chris Carson! Burned very bright, then burned out quickly.
2017 period was stacked
Last RB class that got paid
Great point
Fournette looked 25 years old out of high school.
The hype around him was insane, it made his NFL career disappointing in comparison.
@@ge8198agreed, he was supposed to be Adrian Peterson
@@khbrown8963going Jacksonville hurt him. Minus the one fluke season where they made the AFC championship, he played on bad teams with horrible OLines
Not against Bama tho, he looked less then average.
@@ge8198probably because he went to Jacksonville
A million billion yards and yet no one would draft KTO?????? No wonder he took his goated talents to youtube!
Life always gets better with a KTO posting. This series is incredible, love seeing the increase in production quality over the years.
Man 2014 class was pretty solid
All time great
2017 was nice too
There was a 3 star QB in that class also, can't remember his name. Mahouse or something. I think he's been pretty successful, but maybe he should have stuck to baseball.
He did not mention Mahomes, Josh Allen, Deshaun Watson, Dalvin Cook, Lattimore, Fred Warner, Quincy Williams, or Budda Baker not making the top 10 at the beginning.
very solid ***
Maybe the thing i appreciate the most of you is that you speaking about staying in the NFL as a good thing. So many internet voices talk about backups or people that arent instant pro bowlers as “scrubs” or trash and its so annoying. Thank you.
Right? Almost every player on a roster has a use to the team or they wouldn't be there.
TPS is an example of this ,if you’re not an elite player than you’re a bust in their eyes
Fr. Dashawn Hand was a dawg when he saw the field in Detroit. I’ll never forget the best game he had in his rookie season. We sucked ass all year long, but Dashawn Hand had 2 strip sacks on Rodgers and Crosby missed like 4 field goals and an extra point and we beat the packers in ford field
Kyler Murray jump scared me
Miles Garrett is a HOF beast. Ravens are building an offense to avoid that guy.
Garretts one of those guys you don't build to beat. You build to limit his impact. He's a fantastic player. He absolutely has lived up to the hype. Not gonna lie I think he would've fit well in the black and blue era of the AFC North.
Being from Louisiana I remember all the noise Leonard was making, it was crazy, they really thought he was the next great running back and in all fairness in highschool he absolutely was.
I remember watching that Leonard Fournette play against Auburn at the end of the video. That’s what officially put him on my map, I had recently become a fan of football at that point. I called him the Flyswatter from that point forward. Looking back on it the Auburn db kinda just slid off him and he maintained his balance, but in my minds eye he threw that guy straight off of him. Good memories
Also that dB took a terrible angle too Idk why the hell he thought that was gone work😂😂😂
Good stuff as always KTO. My Alma Mater played LSU Fournette his last year. My son and I drove from Central Alabama to Baton Rouge to pull for Jacksonville State, and to see Fournette…and they rested him. He was dressed, and he looked bigger than ever one else on the field.
I’m so thankful for Peppers being on the patriots, love him
He was one of the only reasons I watched this year
Him and Barmore really stepped up after Judon and Gonzo went down.
Made me so upset that Gregg Williams made him an angel safety playing like 20 yards back most snaps when he was a rookie. Got me and my dad heated that year
The fact that KTO didn’t get any college offers after playing football and winning a state track championship is kinda crazy
imma feel so old when this hits 2017
Exactly
2018 for me💯
One of the Rare years where Most of these Guys lived up to the Hype either in College or the NFL
KTO playing Football & drafted? Who would have thought? Lol can't wait to watch this Video! Your videos are Awesome
I think he stopped focusing on football in college to focus on track
"After committing to Texas A&M, there was a good shot that Kyle Allen was going to be the heir to Johnny Manziel, which was a tall order to live up to." Undrafted, but 7-12 in his starts to Mr. Football's 2-6. Love that for him.
I remember being happy to finally play a game in high school as a receiver. Then after leaving the huddle to get in position to run a jet sweep, I saw that my route will lead to this behemoth of a man (myles garrett). I felt genuine fear praying that i wont get hit by him lmao. He is a lot bigger in person💀
Wow ... I did not realize the 2014 recruiting class had this much talent, and I am definitely grateful my Ravens took Marlon Humphrey, who was part of that top 10. If you have to ask me who is the most impactful, I'd pick Myles Garrett. Sure, Fournette may have won the Super Bowl, but Garrett is the clear face of the Browns franchise since he got drafted. Garrett is the anchor of a potent front 7, in a division that plays against Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson. Plus, it's no coincidence that the Browns have gotten better since he arrived, albeit in spite of the Browns front office shooting themselves in the foot over and over again. Garrett is the definition of a game changer, and the Browns are fortunate to have him.
I agree with Bob Quinn's ideology; the easiest way to miss out on a game-changing player is to overvalue their combine performance. Shame Tabor didn't work out very well but hopefully has a good time in the UFL. I'm noticing a pattern with these recruit videos too: the top QB prospect rarely pans out. Just shows how much development is needed for the most important position. It's not how you start, it's how you learn.
damn a 10.6?? u were fast asf 😂
I feel like Taper could've played WR in the slot with hands like that and his skills. Dude basically ran routes but I remember that combine and it was wild how slow his speed was there. It was basically my time in 9th grade only slightly faster like damn it sucked he didn't become huge in the NFL.
I look forward to these vids every year😂 great as always
I absolutely LOVE these videos. Keep it up bro!!
Teez was a beast !!! Him and Quincy where fun to watch
Bro I love your videos keep it coming legit do every year love these so much stuff happened behind the scenes 🙌
I was a 2-star recruit in 2014, this brings back memories!
You got tell us a story
@Renegade-kf8fp I played for 2 years and had a seizure at a practice so had to quit, probably the most interesting story I got lol. Had tons of concussions from skiing/Boxing/a car accident/football so probably good thing I called it quits before trying to make The League or something.
@@handeggchan1057 There's 5 star players who get utterly humbled once you exit the pond that is high school. Don't feel bad when you got to at least go for your dream in college and lived to talk about it. Besides, people don't realize how cutthroat the NFL can be. My cousin went as a punter to Buffalo made it to the 3rd game and lost on one slightly off kick to the veteran at the time and hasn't made it back since.
@@Gungho73 appreciate it! And I still have good memories, and the big plus is I have no student debt because the NCAA still honors scholarships even if you retire (as long as it is for medical reasons). Still was rough though, I had played football since I was 11 and to suddenly have that all disappear was hard.
You should keep playing at least at a local league level, keep the dream of playing football, maybe not professionaly but if you are good man and makes you happy go for it! @@handeggchan1057
It's amazing how this one feels so passionate because of your connection with it! Great breakdown man
Mixon also made the nastiest block I’ve ever seen during a Monday night game against the Steelers.
Discovered your channel with the Leonard Fournette video. It got me so hyped about him that I wanted my Panthers to draft him. Can say we got the better back with McCaffrey.
Another banger, thanks KTO!
as a michigan fan just hearing jabrills name makes me smile
Love the content bro ❤
I happened to be in New Orleans for a Saints game during Fournette's sophmore season and he really was a sensation. one of the craziest players to watch in college. I think he really would have benefitted from the NIL if it had been around
Content production quality growing 🔥
Yessir Jabrill Peppers my first NFL Jersey as a Browns fan
Another great video!
Happy to see Peppers develop into such a great player. As a long time Michigan fan I'd love to see him on the Lions, but he's been great on that Pats D. Should've showed his pass breakup at the end of the Wisconsin/Michigan game drom back then. Was amazing.
Your the top 10 in our hearts KTO ❤
KTO!!! Love the vids bro. Been a minute since I saw one. Still a sub though.
The Lions got two of these guys and both didn’t work out. This was what is was like a Lions fan in the 2010s.
My brother went to Michigan the year Peppers got there, he was my favorite player by far, first and only jersey I had until I was like 12
These draft recaps are my favorite
UAB mentioned 🐲🔥
Excellent video
Damn KTO I was in high school when I first watched this series now I’m graduating college in May. Keep it up bro 😭
I went to SJR so i actually got to see Jabrill Peppers play in person once. In high school I was a freshman when he was a senior so I only saw one game of him in person but he was dominant like a one man team playing multiple positions on offense and defense it was crazy! Funny thing is I actually don’t remember who won but it was a close game. I also got to see Tommy DeVito play a couple times he even beat us in the championship game at MetLife he was good but he was not even close to Jabrill
People in VA still talk about Quin Blanding. The man is a legend.
I had never even heard of him
im from dc i definitely remember him in high school
@@veganhippie8498 he was a U.S Army All American as a Defensive End/Edge Rusher and switched to O Line at VA Tech. Wild journey
KTOOOOOOO!!! Man what a day. Thank you for this video.
Jabrill Peppers was my favorite player when he was on Michigan. Love that he found his place in NE
Babe we can’t go out yet new KTO recruiting class vid dropped
i went to high school w leonard ive been waiting on this 10 year flash back for as long as i can remember
The thing I remember most about Fournette was that when he had his fumbling issues I named my Fantasty Foortball Team "The Fumbling Fournettes" since I had him on my team. Second best team name I have ever had for fantasy after the year AP got suspended for abusing his child with a branch. I named that team " Adrian Petereson Branch Manager".
Kto with zero stars is mind-blowing what with these scouts man
Crazy this was 10 years ago make me feel old now
Hows it crazy that 2024 - 2014 = 10
Old? Everyone gets old except the dead.
Hey man appreciate u coeur d Alene local givin love to the Idaho guys
KTO, i didnt realize you were a Boise Native! What next one of my favorite football youtubers is going to the same college im going too (Boise State)?
He went to sac st
Bro you were you an athlete, you were pretty fast as well ! That’s cool !!!
best football channel
did not know you were LIKE THAT bro😂 10.6 damnnnn
Played high school in the New Orleans metro and attended a Tulane football camp and Leonard was there, he didn’t do one drill and walked around with the coaches the whole day and ended the day with an offer from them😂😂😂😂😂😂 insane
Dang, a “where are they now” for a high school class I was in……way to make me feel old KTO
pls do a video about what happened to every nfl team that went 15-1 or better I am subbed BTW
Fun fact the 2011 packers are the only 15-1 team to never win a playoff game
Nice
I would say this high school class lived up to the hype. So good to see my guy Brill having his best season in his 7th year, gave me chills😢
I vividly remember watching the UA All American game that year and seeing fournette commit to LSU. Still 0-3 against Bama 😏
Another KTO banger
i feel like you should’ve also expanded on the joe mixon story because the woman spit on him prior to him hitting her. otherwise GREAT vid frfr💯
Man I remember your first youtube vid got recommended to me wayyy back in the day and I was so fucking hype to see leanord fournette play for the jaguars, crazy to see how shit changes over time including the rise of your channel man. I was like in 7-8th grade and now I’m just about graduating college still watching your vids. Love the commitment you’ve had to youtube
16:36 🔥🔥🔥🔥 you slid tho
The rankers did something right this year, everyone on this list was a stud in college(except for Kyle Allen), like everyone made all conference teams and most of them were all Americans
I am from VA, so seeing Hand and Blanding were in the top 10 was interesting since they were both from VA. They did not really live up to the hype but that happens sometimes.
2014 being ten years ago makes me feel old
It's like you knew i was about to eat dinner, thank you
mixon's college issues are why the bengals (my team) was able to get someone that good in the 2nd round. i;m glad the other teams were scared off. he's been a very consistent 1,000 yards a year guy for a long time. we're now in year two of "mixon definitely getting released this year". i hope it doesn't happen.
Damn KTO went to Borah haha? Greetings from Idaho.
I love your videos I don’t think I’ve ever had a complaint but please do not use that filter or animation at 12:55 ever again it was giving me an actual headache trying to read this dudes stats 😂 other than that banger per usual my guy!
I messed up there putting the filter after the text overlay. That’s my bad!
SICK
I remember the whole Mixon hitting the girl thing like it was yesterday. He did go into the draft with large amount of eyes and scrutiny on him. Or only did he handle it well but has been an upstanding NFL player for the Bengals. Been consistent and a solid NFL career. Been interesting to watch his journey.
Also he hit her because she spit in his face and called him the N word. Actions have consequences
Funny how KTO left out that he hit her after she attacked him
Yup he turned out to be the 3rd-4th best rb in that entire draft class loaded with Rb’s
I feel like we're gonna feel the same way about this year's draft so much talent even in the seventh round there's gems everywhere
I still remember that Leonard Fournette game vs. Auburn! That was an absolutely ridiculous performance......
Good day when KTO drops some heat
19:17 Peppers put his teammate to sleep, he couldn't handle the spice 😂.
What a class!
I was gonna say can’t believe you missed the clip of fournette throwing the guy off his back, only to see you put it at the end lol
Thanks KTO!
Lol this is also my class, KTO. I was a swimmer, and I got D2 offers. can't believe i didn't make the top 10
BLESSED DAAAAAAY
When KTO and I were both sac state class of 14 !!!
I AM A MIAMI DOLPHINS FAN. BUT I WANNA GO ON RECORD AS SAYING, JOE MIXON....👏 GOOD FOR YOU YOUNG MAN. THE BEST REVENGE IS MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF SUCCESS.
Knowing I have to wait 5-8 years to see the lists of guys i played against sucks so much
I can't want Tull next year 😂 , that was my year I graduated
What leonard fornette was hyped to be is what Derrick Henry is
wait that’s a good ass comparison 😮
Didn’t expect to see a local guy on this list!
Garrets HS highlight tape is wild lol
they really slept on kto 😤
Dalton Hilliard was great coming out of LSU back in the 80s, but he wasn't even on fournettes level and hes the only tiger halfback i can think up that rates
