I am in between hunts so thought I'd look back on some cracker boars.

Stu a perfect example of why we need different firearms for different situations - the shottie on the banks, 3006 to reach out, 30/30 in the scrub - awesome vid reminds me of my you get days pig hunting on the Barwon

Had a Hog Zilla shake off a 165 gr .308 thru the boiler room at forty yards, I say they miss named them Ted Nugent Hog Hammers. Monster size pigs you stacking up there my friend. These old footage from hunts years back recognized that silver scope from days of old. Good Hunting my Friend.

Ol 30 30 is well liked around the traps . . not talking about Kings Cross . . sitting around at early campground Dundee pub NT , back in day late night & a fellow surprised us with the statement that he made his first fortune down at the cross selling his arse , he was wearing those lycra bicycle shorts at time & so we took it for granted

I've been wondering what zero you use on the 30-06? I've always used a 100 yards zero but I've been rethinking if it's really what I should be doing.

- I normally zero at 30m as this is approx where the path of the bullet passes the line of sight.

- No vultures but eagles, crows hawks etc. Also other pigs will clean up carcasses, yes dingoes, wild dogs n cats, goannas etc
