I love the bit where they’re gradually working it out, Sapnap’s remarking “he’s leading us out into the middle or nowhere” and George asking “wait…how do we…?” as it zooms in on the Ender Pearl in his hand And then the shot of SapNap’s horrified realization as George finishes his question: *”How are we getting out of here?”*
Pausing it at 0:32 and seeing Dream's smug face while the hunters look utterly confused is just priceless.
The fact that Dream's mask shows his expression is amazing and funny.

The way dream's mask is also showing expressions is incredible. And the part where sapnap was dying to go after dream really show just how much of a rivalry those two Minecrafters have.
2 years later and this animation is still goated. something i noticed is dream’s impeccable music choice and timing. exactly when the hunters enter the nether the beat drops and i find it so cool. ( 1:25 - 1:28 )

I love how sapnap is like the rowdy child who craves violence, Ant is the calm and collected one who listens to Bad, George is the smart child with good strategies but no ones listens to him and Bad is the mother to keep all the children in check.

i think in the video where he talks about this manhunt he explains that he somehow knew nobody had one or just used it up. That way he knew he could risk trapping them

It was luck too, if one of them decided to stay in the overworld or by the portal in the Nether, his plan wouldn't have worked. It's them deciding to 4v1 him and not realising the nature of the trap until it was too late that let Dream trap them.
@@darkdragoness5 yeah thats true. If one or 2 were waiting in the overworld though it would shrink their chances to catch and kill dream severly. Even if just 3chase him into the portal, the 4th one still had to waste Time relighting the portal cause a 1v1 is pretty much a garuanteed win for dream. They dont know what to expect in the nether and splitting up would make things more risky no matter what dream prepared. So all 4 chasing was the best risk they could take. Either it works or it doesnt.

Bro, I'll admit, it's one of the smartest traps in Minecraft, and Dream executed it perfectly without any errors. Because escaping through the portal before the TNT explodes, you have to be very quick

It’s entertaining and all, especially the animation, it’s just with moments like this more people didn’t realize a lot of his videos were fibbed.
His comment about confidence really is true. There’s so many ways his plan could’ve gone wrong. They might not all have gone in. They might’ve had a flint and steel. They might have told someone to wait by the portal. All of these would’ve gotten Dream killed easily. But he had confidence. He was confident that THEY were confident. They got cocky, and Dream exploited that. He was confident that they would all go in, that they wouldn’t have a flint and steel, that they would all chase him and nobody would wait by the portal. Because they had gotten cocky. They had full enchanted armor, and after their demonstration where they learned they could do a ton of damage and Dream could hardly do anything, they didn’t account for a trap because they thought they had already won. There was nothing Dream could do to outsmart full enchanted gear. But they were wrong, and that was their downfall.

Sure, the Dream Team didn’t make the best decision, but that’s because they’re essentially the villains of Manhunt. Dream is the hero. The villains have to make mistakes so that the hero can defeat them.
