Finally! A soldering instruction video you can dance to!
Hi , thank you . Thought I'd try and set a new trend 🤸💃🕺
Please no music
The music is funny.
If you don't like the music, turn the volume down. It's that simple folks.
Hi , thanks for your comment . I do enough talking on all my other video's , just thought I'd give myself a day off. I understand if people don't like the music but like you said it can be turned down , oh well. Thanks again 👍
I would rather hear him narrating. For some of us it's kind of ASMR.
nice skills , thank you for your videos .
Hi , thank you for your comment , glad you enjoy the videos 👍
What instrumentation do you use to make so awesome videos? My microscope camera show so bad colors if compared with yours.
Amazing...
Hi , thank you for your comment , much appreciated , glad you enjoyed the video 👍
@@mrsolderfix3996 Thank you for your comment to.
Thanks, thanks for video! I agree too with others. skills are important in this stuff, as long as a sharp sight straight hands. but I've just did some similar repair in the days, without microscope and with shaking hands. But I did it! I was so lucky.😀
Hi , thank you for your comment , much appreciated 👍
Please do some flex / flat ribbon cable solder next time. Thanks
Hi , thank you for your comment . I will try to do this in a future video , thank you for the suggestion , much appreciated 👍
Great skills 👌 but it comes with practice practice and again practice 😉
Hi , thank you for your comment , much appreciated. You are right with practice we can all get better , also you learn what tools , solders etc you need to do various jobs and your soldering knowledge just grows. Hopefully my videos can pass some help on to a few people , that's my wish 👍
I RL need help is there a way I can message you to show you my situation
Which music is this?
magnificent, Can you tell me the tools you are using?
Hi , thank you. The tools I generally use are , Weller TCP S Soldering iron with either a PTP7 conical or DD8 large flat soldering tip. SMFL200D flux , 0.25mm or 0.5mm solder , leaded + unleaded ( from BLT Circuits , England ) , stereo long reach microscope from GT Vision ( England ) , other general tools like tweezers , cutters etc I always try and get good brands like Lindstrom. Cleaning wipes I use Gtek dry wipes ( grove sales , England ) with Ultrasolve cleaning fluid , from Farnell , RS Components . Hope that helps . Good luck 👍
@@mrsolderfix3996 Thank you very much
Hi , no problem , I've done KZhead postings about the flux , cleaning fluids etc , amongst my other video's I also mention certain tools I use . Some of these maybe useful for you . Thanks again for your support , good luck 👍

Is using solder lead free - a habit or someone's requirement ???
Hi , thank you for your comment. These days lead free is a requirement for most industries with some firms still having an exemption to be able to use leaded solder . If we could we would all still use leaded as it's easier to use and to rework with , but lead free has got better over the years to what it used to be. So it's not my choice to use lead free but it's basically in most cases what's required . Hope that helps , thanks again 👍
Thanks for the answer. I just know from experience - that lead-free is harder to work with and for hi-fi (my hobby) it doesn't sound good. I read more than once that its use is prohibited in medical and military equipment, and NASA does not use it either.
Hi , your probably right in the fact that lots of military equipment is still built using leaded solder as I personally have been involved in this over the last few years. Any hobbyists will probably still use leaded as it's still available to buy easily enough . Thank you for your support and good luck with all your soldering projects 👍

Good video but could do without that music. Your commentary is better IMO.
