This reminds me of growing up near Oakland in the 60's and 70's. white kids, purple kids, black kids, kids with polka dots. Back then the American way was to respect everyone's heritage and culture. I grew up listening to Stevie Wonder, blues, jazz and appreciating all kinds of music and people. Young people are missing so much today with hatred on all sides. I love this music. You don't have to be black and grown up a slave in North Carolina to appreciate this kind of music. That guitar player reminds me of BB King's twangs sometimes. Keep more great music coming please! In the meantime I'll get back to my sweatin to the blues moves. 🙂
It was a great time in life. We all got along and I am blessed because I have lived in a time when we all lived as brothers and sisters of all ethnicities. It was a beautiful time in life yes indeed.❤

Thanks Doc, I'll check it out for sure -- but from my youth: I started out with the old "boots and saddles" cowboy music, moved to rhythym and blues, then the early stages of rock n roll, through folk music (I was even a folk guitarist and singer, later moving back to country music, then auditorily through the thoroughly great years of modern and big band jazz, into the blues (which still last today for me!), traversed through gospel music, and am now here, sans guitar and singing. That leaves a HUGE field of music in which to find things I enjoy ... but I'm sure you've exactly nailed down how to reach both my outer and inner ear, and I'll sure stay along with you for the rest of my ride on planet Earth.
