An intoxicated female driver was ejected from the car during a rollover accident at highway speeds and was brought to the ER by ambulance. Blood pressure 83/45. How do you use ultrasound to assist in her care?

So why was the splenic injury missed at LUQ window?
Ultrasound does NOT identify organ injury well. You are looking for blood (free fluid) that indicates there has been an injury.
