  • Great project. I'm also thinking if you add more thickness to the insert, leave the top off, add more of the textured stuff, and add a smaller insert that is a block or made like you made the insert with the top, then when it is done you will have a planter with a place in the middle for umbrellas....Or...you can tape a pole, which is covered with cellophane, inside the smallest insert, pour in cement and when dry pull out the pole and cellophane. Then you will have a planter and a place for a deck umbrella.

  • Very crafty I wish the wheels were rubberized black and anchors were installed for the wheels in case you need to replace a wheel The white sticks out and will most likely crack under the heavy weight of the pot

    • What about placing a board with pre-drilled holes as the base? If you can get black casters in your area, you don't have to use white!
