When looking for a vehicle to buy, my biggest decision point is not what car to buy......but which Lexus to buy. In this day and age, no other carmaker has come close to Lexus in terms of refinement, quality, luxury, comfort, and longevity.
I actually really like the new styling in front. As someone who really dislikes SUVs and large vehicles, this has a great sharp design
Agree!
Totally agree.
I thought I was the only one who disliked SUVs. LOL! I have 5 people in my family and need to replace my minivan (which drives like a care) I can't find a decent sedan to fit 5 people without the hump in the middle of the back seat floor.
Terrific video of the all new Lexus TX!! Great job Drew and Mason!! Keep up the great work!!
You cannot believe how important the measuring tape is. Thanks for doing that. It saves me from driving down to local dealers with mine.
Glad to help!
We just bought a TX 350 premium and love it. Shopped the Honda Pilot, MDX and Grand Highlander. Cabin is more quite then all of them and the ride is fantastic! Room in the 3rd row nothing comes close either. The interior is all soft touch material and I have no complaints. Love the big info screen~
You two always deliver great practical reviews. The car community appreciates these vids.
Thank you! 😊
I've already driven a grand highlander but keep hearing the TX rides even better. Can't wait to try it myself. Also looking forward to the new Traverse and Acadia. SUVs are on fire right now.
I test drove a premium trim model of this vehicle about a month ago, and I absolutely loved it. I was originally going to buy a Grand Highlander, but after test driving the TX and going to the Chicago Auto Show to sit in and interact with the Grand Highlander, my wife and I have decided to save up some extra money for the Lexus, but we're going to go for the TX 500h F-Sport, instead, because of the better suspension and gas mileage, and I don't need the moon roof, so we don't need the luxury trim of that one.
Yes I enjoy the service that gets from Lexus
Amazing video guys.
Excellent review as always!😸
Have a great weekend!
Yes its def one of the best!
You should do a standard size suitcase test imo (checked luggage and carry-on). Cubic feet isn’t that relatable; people don’t think in those terms imo.
Bench seat in 2024 Lexus tx 550 hybrid models is missing which is weak point Lexus must consider this
You really got a point.
Also the inability to even spec a pano roof. Absolutely unacceptable. I'd just wait a few years when they ultimately include these.
Lexus says that if there is enough demand for it, they will make it. Probably if enough people want bench seats it may come in the 2025 model, just me speculating tho
It’s very nice !! I like it
Saw one on the road today in black, look nice
I test drove the 350 Luxury and really liked it. I thought the 4 cylinder had a lot of power but I do agree it was a bit harsh sounding and loud at times for a luxury vehicle. I liked all of the technology but I could see it being very distracting with the amount of menu screens available to cycle through. Not sure if there is enough here to justify the price increase over the Grand Highlander Hybrid Max though.
Lexus ❤@This.
I just bought the luxury trim. I feel the stirring wheel is quite stiff compared to my RX450H. Your thoughts about it's stirring?
Yes
Great review brothers. I love anything Lexus. I bought one of the very first Lexus LS 400's ever sold in Illinois. It wasn't much of a looker, but oh my, the ride quality, power, and luxury interior for the times were above and beyond. At that time it far exceeded any Benz on the market imo. The Lexus pricing is way outta my range these days, otherwise I'd grab one of these in a NYC second. Cheers guys, have a great weekend
Thanks and you have great one as well!
3 Lexuses in my household. My 17 ES350, wife’s 24 NX350h and son’s 08 RX350. Just won’t buy anything else, maybe except a Porsche 911. 😊
Yes of course & planned on buying one soon.
There’s no replacement for displacement. My 2021 low mileage GX will outlive me and I don’t believe the same can be said for any 4 cyl turbo engine. I think LEXUS will have to dramatically increase the Powertrain Warranty to a minimum of 100k miles.
I order my TX350 today! I hope the Mark Levinson sound system can cover up the engine noise😂😂😂
It sure does!
@@StelaRay509 Does it sound really good?
I had Mark Levinson in an RC350F Sport and it was 100 percent amazing. You will not be disappointed!
@@SQUID_2259 I see. I read some reviews specifically for the TX that the ML is not really worth the upgrade.
Just bought one, luxury trim. I feel the steering wheel quite stiff compared to my RX450H. Did you feel the same way?
@carconfections. another great review.. what do you guys driver for a persona car? Acura?
Thanks! Our long term testers are a 2023 BMW 330e and 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe
Is there an amp in this cruiser ?? Highlander has I believe a 1200 W with 12 inch sub
The front end of this TX really reminds me of the previous generation Highlander
Kinda yeah but the TX is more elegant.
Hi, What is the total length of this TX? I wanted to know because of the limited space i have in my parking
I am trying to understand how this car compares to toyota sequoia. This car interior looks better and third row is one less people but more comfortable. So other than having a bigger engine does sequioa has any advantage over lexus tx 350 premium?
The luxury Grand Highlander!
How was the Mark Levinson audio system? I’ve read a lot about it and most are negative comments with sound being tinny and lacking in bass.
Local Lexus dealer was stocked to the hilt yesterday. Had six TX models. Four LX600. Only thing I didn’t see was the gx550 and LC models.
I feel that Lexus was stuck on this vehicle. I think they had to make it less luxurious because it could take away LX and GX sales. I drove this model and found wind noise above 60mph. Sounded like the windows were open but they were not. Also the engine is ok but the sound from that engine is horrible at this price point. Also I found it hard to tell the difference between base model interior and executive. This should not be the case. Also I find the seats short and you need the top package to get that. Also the top fsport version has no thigh extender. Just get the platinum max grand highlander. Still cheaper than the Tx base model and comes with the same engine offered on the tx500 fsport. It also uses regular fuel and the portobello interior colour is better than the dark options (only peppercorn and black offered on non fsport trims in Canada). Furthermore, the gh uses regular fuel and is over 20000 less than the starting price for a similarly equipped tx500 in Canada. Couple this with lower maintenance costs at Toyota( about 30 to 40 percent cheaper in Canada compared to Lexus) and it is a no brainer. The TX is truly not worthy of the Lexus badge. I have a gx460 and gs350 and I am not happy with the TX unless you are driving in a straight line and coasting without touching the gas pedal.
I will like a different comparison between this and grand highlander. Thanks
How does this TX and the Grand Highlander compare to the Palisade Calligraphy?🙏
Palisade destroys both
Awesome video! How about the new ZDX or Tesla Model Y review possibly at some point??
ZDX not a Honda
@@ricric8348true its a gm which is stupid.
Thanks! We are keeping an eye out for these models if we get the opportunity to review them!
@@CarConfections also can you do a long term 550h+ review at some point?
They reviewed tesla model y already
Does a top trim true 8 seater with 2nd row bench exist in this world?
Why this mid size suv cost the same as Escalade ?
I just like the outlook, but from functionality and practicality Honda Pilot much better. My opinion also depends on price comparing those prices.
TX has rising lift up down?
do you notice any rattling on the central console? drove the '24 RX and its central console was rattling, i believe due to the plastic.
We did not notice any rattles on this example
Can you control read climate from front dash?
Yes!
I bet allot of people from Texas gonna love the TX lol
Reading so many of these comments and I am confused about the hate for a 4 cylinder turbo and their complete ignorance regarding the average Lexus buyer and someone who wants more performance. Personally speaking I would never buy the 350 variant as I prefer way more pep, however the average Lexus owner does not care about 0-60 times. I leased the 2022 RX450h about 2 years ago as I wanted the V6 paired with a hybrid but after test driving the RX and TX 500h variants I'm starting to get super antsy about my current lease ending. The 500h turbo 4 set up with the hybrid motors put most V6 turbos to shame with its torque and smoothness not to mention the MPG ! I just wonder if the hate from people online is just misinformed as they've never driven one.
The Lexus TX and the Toyota Grand Highlander can fit a full-size adult in the third row of those two vehicles and it has the best third row!
The TX is longer with more room in the 3rd row...
Interestimg that the 3rd brake light is so much smaller than on the gh
is it based off the grand highlander?
Yes
Also I walked past a new Toyota and Lexus Suv....sooooo niceeee😩😩😩😩😩.lol
Hey it didn't fall apart like that brand new Hyundai you bought 😂😂
I love the tx, but do not like the wobbly cupholders!!!!
I picked old style GX over theTX , GX still feels more luxury quality product to me than TX .
can you bring back first person view
It looks so much like a grand highlander and the smaller engine is not as refined and smooth as the outgoing V6. I will wait for the redesign and will consider the T550h. Wait a few years then I will consider it as a family vehicle. The ‘23 GX 460 Luxury with a smooth V8 I bought last year is perfect for now.
20 MPG in the city and it requires premium gasoline.
It’s not for broke people like you
My NA V6 gives out the same. More money for a V4. Lol at Lexus.
@@jacknjill802 its not a "V4" lol

Mazda is small company with quality made and inline twin turbo with 8 speeds trans.
Why would i pay this much for half thebcar of the older gx
I don't get the obsession with captains chairs on giant vehicles. Four places in the first two rows and six total isn't impressive for a 200+ inch long family hauler. Wish they'd let you have a bench on all trims.
Excellent video…❤… I just wish it had either a V8 or a V6 naturally aspirated engine… This vehicle would’ve been perfect for my four German shepherds, but I am not a four-cylinder guy and I sure don’t like turbo charging hopefully in the future they’ll make a naturally aspirated, V8, or V6 engine for this vehicle I will say the eight speed transmission is beautiful. I have that in my 2021 LX 570 and the speed is great in the 2023 GX 460. I know they’re having recalls on the 10 speed transmission in TOYOTA and Lexus there’s like a little less than 300,000 recalls so I’m staying away from that 10 speed automatic transmission am my opinion I just think it’s too many gears. Anyway, you guys do great videos I really appreciate it. I just wish you had a different powerplant.❤
Thanks!
They want $25000 down on a lease around $575 a month here in NJ !!!!!!! They not letting them go for cheap and they adding a premium price to each truck that gets sold because “ not too many of them available “ Lexus made me go back to VW and grab that Atlas SEL R Premium on all black and it’s ok
I got mine at msrp no hassle whatsoever
Why is every manufacturer ditching normally aspirated engines in favor of turbo? Is the extra torque and slightly better fuel economy really worth the risk, i.e. higher likelihood of mechanical issues? I am especially wondering why Toyota is ditching its V6 and V8 engines that are legendary for their reliability, smoothness, and refinement, in favor of noisier turbo-4's whose long-term reliability is unknown.
Fuel economy and I believe another big thing are government regulations that penalize gas consumption. It should be worth nothing though, that I believe the way the turbos are being implemented on these engines is different. They have probably engineered and designed the function of turbos to be optimal given the context of which they're being used, as opposed to sport performance. If that's the case I feel like they should name the use of turbos something differently, if it's for efficiency rather than performance
Thanks for the info. If they are being implemented for efficiency and not sport, does this mean the pressures will be less and the engines will last just as long as normally aspirated ones?, @@HiiImChris
55 decibels is definitely on the higher side for the segment.
Hey bros, what is the future of cars in your opinon.
There will be more cars
@@SkyReaper😂
The ugly front grill and lack of a V6 for such a big car (unless you upgrade to the 550H+ which only seats 6 and does not come with a panoramic sunroof) are real huge misses for me.
What’s happening with Lexus these days? I have nothing against this, but I look at this, especially on the interior, and I’m just not in love with it. I’m taken back to the days when I owned a 2007 RX 350 that was draped in rich leather, deep, thick wood all over the cabin, and it was the epitome of warmth and coziness. Do buyers not like that sort of thing anymore? This looks like every other drab, dank, boring car built after 2018 at premium price.
It’s Lexus. What did you expect? They’re becoming the worst luxury brand in the industry at the moment. They make it so easy to choose the competition

I guess for the price its ok but lexus misses the mark on some things that the Germans get right. Yes, Lexus should last forever but lets get some massage front seats and heated and cooled cup holders (BMW X7) good job guys
Doesn't the X7 cost more? And you can't have heated and cooled cupholders if the cupholders are removable.
Music is too loud
I like the size of the Lexus TX and the engine/drive of the Acura MDX. Which one do I buy?!?! 😢😭
Wait for the 2025 MDX at this point.
@Josh-xo6iy but the 2025 MDX isn't getting any bigger. It's a tech upgrade and some designs. Right?
@@cupofjoe2988 Yup not sure which one you’re model you’re looking at but a bit of a redesign and interior changes. Not a full refresh.

Kind of boring looking! I pass.
Oh, the 2024 Lexus TX 350! That sounds like an exciting car model. Lexus is known for its luxury and style, and the TX 350 is no exception. With its sleek design and advanced features, it's definitely a vehicle that catches the eye. Whether you're looking for a smooth ride or top-notch performance, the TX 350 seems like a great choice. @@naveenthemachine I agree the TX isn't a performance vehicle but it's good for families who want luxury, comfort, and space
The new TX is a fantastic vehicle but if I didn't need the space I'd still pick a MDX over it bc of the driving dynamics
@@CarGeek360 luxury comfort space also describes a Kia telluride sx prestige or Hyundai palisade calligraphy. Both give you all those things at a lower cost. The luxury badge doesn’t mean a thing if you don’t even get that

it is dirty inside of headlight
For 73k I expect the finest bubinga wood and eider down.
Pretty sure I can pay A LOT LESS and get EVERYTHING this offers, with a Hyundai Palisade. And with the money I save, I can get me a motorcycle
Looks like an updated Toyota Gran Highlander from the same manufacture no thanks
Give me a Telluride hands down any day. The 4 cylinder is underpowered and noisy. Lexus flat out missed the mark with these. Might as well purchase a Grand Highlander for 15k less. At this point you're just purchasing the Lexus badge. At this price point I'd purchase a GV80 or MDX.
I agree
Purchased a 24 telluride xpro. Only 5900km, dealer said the engine needs replacement…so this over kia anyday
Be honest, just my personal opinion. There is nothing wrong about this family suv being as a better and more luxury Toyota highlander or grand highlander. Just the front design of this TX is way too ugly and less aggressive and bold as a big 7 seats suv should be. Otherwise they shall have great sales. Or maybe they just do not want market this car as their flagship, so they can sell more of other Toyota or Lexus.
The Mazda luxury suv looks better.
