  • Quand je vois les commentaires négatifs ptdr, réveillez vous est-ce que vous avez vu le progrès cinématographique c'est juste énorme bientôt vous serrez plonger en immersion totale dans le film.. Le premier film en couleur date de 1935 et ces 10 dernières années le cinéma évolue à une vitesse, juste chapeau.

Les Anglais sont coutumiers de ce genre de chose, dernier film en date, Le roi avec Rober Pattison parlant d'Azincourt ou le film c'est littéralement transformé en propagande contre la France hésitant pas à transformer l'histoire pour valoriser, à tort, les Anglais......

    • @@lyncistso1111 Aucun problème, quand on est passionné d'histoire, surtout celle de la France qui est d'une richesse absolue, ce genre de film au partie pris déconcertant est juste "irregardable".... Ce film a l'air d'avoir une très belle photographie c'est sur, mais le poids du mensonge qui règne dans ce film empêche, je pense, de nombreuses personnes de le regarder...

    • @@Sy-cc3rv je comprend très bien le résonnement, et il est légitime, la réalisation est d'une qualité irréprochable mais je comprend que des déformations de la réalité soit perturbant pour des passionnés. J'ai moi aussi ce genre de problèmes, nottament avec le film Ad astra qui est sublime mais irréaliste.... c'est un film dans l'espace et je ne laisse passer aucun détail sur ce sujet...

  • « Malgré notre écrasante supériorité numérique et matérielle, les troupes françaises contre-attaquent en plusieurs endroits. Or, c’est toujours la même chose, notre infanterie et nos chars ne peuvent percer, malgré quelques succès locaux éphémères. Le commandement français a très habilement installé sa troupe et son artillerie. Je crains que Dunkerque soit un échec pour nous : la quasi-totalité du corps expéditionnaire britannique et la plus grande partie de la 1re armée française vont nous échapper, car quelques milliers de braves nous barrent l’accès à la mer. C’est consternant, mais c’est ainsi. » « Dunkerque m’apporte la preuve que le soldat français est l’un des meilleurs du monde. L’artillerie française, tant redoutée en 14-18, démontre une fois de plus sa redoutable efficacité. Nos pertes sont terrifiantes : de nombreux bataillons ont perdu 60 % de leurs effectifs, parfois même plus ! « « En résistant une dizaine de jours à nos forces nettement supérieures en effectifs et en moyens, l’armée française a accompli, à Dunkerque, un superbe exploit qu’il convient de saluer. Elle a certainement sauvé la Grande-Bretagne de la défaite, en permettant à son armée professionnelle de rejoindre les côtes anglaises. » Georg Von Küchler

    • The movie is nearly entirely Anglo-centered anyway. We only get to see the French combating in the streets at the beginning of the movie, or via this guy who cheats to avoid war and survive. They used a museum-ship from my city (Nantes) in that movie, which probably made a great "decoration" but was nowhere to be found in the story. We shouldn't have lent that boat.

The Germans secretly broke through a forest believed to be impenetrable, they rushed toward Normandy with tanks and drugs, didn't slept during days thanks to those drugs, and in only 3 days the Allies' army was cut in half. The French tried to cut the german supply line before the german infantry would go in, but all the French tanks were stuck in Belgium, so the southern French could do nothing. The French had no reserve at the rear, meaning that once the German had broke through the border, there was no soldiers in the rest of France. It took 3 days with the fast panzers, nobody had time to think what flank to cover. The French yet planned to join the southern forces with the northern forces to cut the german supply line but the British fled without telling the French, which canceled this counter-offensive.

    • Les soldat anglais a Dunkerque n'ont rien fais d’héroïque dans les fait car ce sont les français qui tenais les ligne arrière ce qui a permis au troupes anglaise de pouvoir quitté la france sans trouble de l'infanterie. Je dirais pour cette situation que ce sont les marins plaisanciers, les pécheur et tous les civil anglais qui sont venu porté secours a leur armées en zone de guerre par acte de patriotisme. Cela dit les soldats anglais ont fais preuve d'un courage hors norme a Dunkerque mais leurs actes n'avais rien d’héroïque. Est donc le miracle ce sont le civil anglais est les français.
