I have a 15 year old chihuahua named Trixie who has that same coloration. My girl is totally blind but lives like a Queen. Nothing holds her back even in these advanced years.

I had my two little Chis for 18 years. They were the sweetest, cuddliest little babies. They were Daisy and Petunia.(sometimes Poot and Toot if being mischievous.) I would get two more if I thought I had 18 years left. But that's okay. I'll just keep the memories of them and spoil the heck out of my daughters doggos. The cutie in this video looks a lot like my Daisy. Thanks for sharing.😘🥰

This reminds me of my two little apple heads when they were at 8 weeks old. Bubbles past away at 15 years old, Buster past away in 2022 at the age of 16 years old. I miss both of them. Chihuahua 's are the best. 💯🐶🐶♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

I have been owned by several chihuahuas and I can say unequivocally that God has never made a more precious canine. My Little Bill is sitting beside me now and he looked just like the angel in this video. At 13 He can be just like a puppy playing with his toys

So cute. Brings back memories of my Roxie to your left. She was so little and cried all night for her brothers and sisters that first night. She grew up and gave us 12 wonderful years. Valentine's Day 2021, she died a horrible death of liver cancer. I was able to hold her and look into her eyes as she took her last breath. I cried like a baby. I mess her so much.
I am so very sorry to hear of her pain and suffering and that your heartbroken missing her. I’m sure Roxie was very comforted from you being with her to the end. You are strong to watch that. When our little girl Kiwi was on the way out, my family invited me over to see her one last time, but I had to keep away. My depression is bad and I couldn’t fathom watching my beloved pup die. I would have those images forever in my mind and I couldn’t put myself through that torture. I wish I was as strong as you. I can’t bring myself to get new chihuahuas because of the pain of eventual loss.
@@leannegreen7830 Leanne I agree about the pain in getting another dog. I will not get another dog, I feel I would be cheating on Roxie. Watching her death was hard, I do NOT want to go through that again. You take care of yourself. There's a poem called, "The Rainbow Bridge" is very cute, but you will cry when you read it. It's about our pets playing at the Rainbow Bridge and waiting for us as we cross the Rainbow Bridge into Heaven. You will cry.

When I brought my little potato sized chi home, I put her in a little cardboard box with a towel half covering it to keep the warmth in. She was very small, and could get cold easily. I put her box on the bed next to me, so she could be close and feel safe while also avoiding any accidents on the bed. I woke up in the middle of the night to her having escaped and was squirming and wriggling up against me; had a dream about little squirmy creatures all over me. I thought. "I guess you're sleeping on my chest now..." and I put her in the hood of my jacket and wore it backwards so she was on my chest. I learned to sleep perfectly still on my back, and that was her spot for weeks.
We brought our beautiful new fur baby, who looks a lot like the Chi in this video, home on 6/19. I have a bulging disc in my neck which is less painful when laying on my back really still with my pillow rolled up just so. She sleeps on a big blanket between our pillows. I have learned to sleep laying only on my back too. She has fallen asleep on my chest or near my arm, and even once under the blankets by my torso. I am very cognizant of finding where she is before I move when I wake up Sooooo precious!! Congratulations on having your Chi! 🐕🥰👏🎊🎉
I jad both of mine in my bed from the start. They were smart enough to get out of the way if I rolled over. They were each 2.5 pounds at 8 weeks and it was the best times of my life, no comparison.
Such a precious puppy. I got my little Chi this past Easter Sunday. He started out sleeping in his own little bed right next to mine; he now sleeps in bed with my husband and myself. He takes turns snuggling between my husband and myself. 🥰

Loved video I lost my little one of 12yrs on Aug 5th this year. I have a memorial where she is buried in back yard. I miss her so much want so much to get another loving campion. She was an apple head beautiful Ginger color and that was her name.

I adopted a 4 year old shelter dog and he slept with me for two weeks before he felt safe enough to sleep by himself. Then when he was old he wanted to be back with me. I miss him.

@@gajagloriataralinska It's lovely that you keep her with you but I think the point TheFifthElement is trying to make is she needs to 'snuggle' as she did with her litter mates to feel protected and warm when sleeping and feeling vulnerable. A large plush toy is ideal. PS I hope you didn't mean you actually have her in your bed? It's a definite you would crush her in the night.....
My little pup and in the past, kittens, were not crushed by sleeping against me.
