Wow! That second Frank and Airic chase was phenomenal, and I loved seeing Ashlee (almost literally when it comes to Sarin) grabbing the bull by the horns in that second chase. The confidence her team showed in her is really cool, and it paid off for them. APK squared did not disappoint.

@@jeremysun7365 - I had to dig up the old WCT Team Profile videos to get you an answer (Those videos are all unlisted now). APK is the only organization to register two Teams in WCT USA. APK Blue was the A team according to the videos info box. So I guess APK Grey was the B. "Was" because I think this match probably changed that.

the fact that both APK's had to fight each other to take one of their own teams out says alot, what says even more was that it ended in a tiebreaker. This teams showing was one of the best in the compitition hands down

Any match over eleven minutes is a tense match. This one absolutely delivered. Opening with Sarin hunting Mark was a match-up I've been waiting to see. Describing Sarin as a rhino is accurate, his arms just flail as he charges round the quad. So cool to see that against Mark's calculated dashes. And Frank versus Airic.. those two are so quick and precise. It's normally a bad idea to directly tail the evader, but it was a beautiful run to see Frank mirroring Airic's movements. Ashlee's clutch dive against Sarin was a surprise. I think Sarin thought he could outrun her, but the Front Line has such low EQ that I think he underestimated her bursts of speed. Jesse's had such long reach on that swipe against Frank. And in Sudden Death with Ethan's lightning swipe at Matthew under four seconds, he primed Mark for evading Sarin again. And Mark showboating followed by Sarin tensing and roaring, Sarin looked like so imposing. Even within 3.6s, I wouldn't have put it past him to get payback on Mark, but he didn't dive through the lower bar. Great performances.
I wanna see Mark Bowles chasing and evading either Xavia Rodriguez or Kyle Soderman.

@@WorldChaseTag You guys should do an all-star match where you take some of the best players from teams that failed to reach the championship match and have them do a schoolyard pick to form two teams (that perhaps could be called All-Star White and All-Star Black, with each team wearing their team's color) that would then compete in a standard match before the final. It could be cool to watch players that were formerly at odds team up, and the amount of hype would probably be large, especially from the truest fans of WCT. And maybe we would get to see what happens when big-time evasion powerhouses such as Mark, Brother, and Seth are all on the same team. P.S. WCT was an incredible experience! The people behind WCT were a pleasure to work with, they really treated the athletes with utmost respect (not a given with these type of events). I could not be more proud of my team's effort through the whole competition. It was an honor to bow out to our brothers and sister on Grey; an absolute force of a team! This match was decided by the slimmest margins, and could have gone either way several times! A special "thank you" goes out to M2 for bringing both APK teams to the competition and all the insane amount of effort he put in to make this possible for everyone involved. All the other teams were pure class, it was mind-blowing to see the level of skill on display across the board. Much love to all involved, and everyone supporting WCT!

"He's nearly taken the shorts off his *back* there!" That *would* be impressive I was really looking forward to Sarin vs Mark. I was expecting Sarin to get closer but Mark is just too good! Even in the sprint around the frontline, a part of the quad where Sarin excels due to his speed, Mark managed to keep his distance only losing a little of his lead. I kind of eat my words in regards to my previous comment regarding APK Grey. Ashlee was in twice and Mark only once in the regular sixteen chases. She did very well catching Sarin at the last second, but she still just doesn't look as comfortable or as fast on the quad. Jay also just wasn't very familiar with the quad. I was surprised to hear that Grey were the B-team of Blue because Mark, Ethan, and Frank are better than just about anyone on Blue. I think if the team managers had read the players right, we could have a combined APK team that are title contenders. Grey still might be, but I think they'll fall to Apex again or GNF. They could beat Ollo though.
Pretty sure they decided to split forces, and I really like the choice, loved to see those two teams here

These guys kept me on the edge of my seat! Ashlee with the tag, Airic vs Frank, Ethan with the quick sudden death match tag, and Mark (in general) made this one of my favorite matches!

Ashlee is not the best freerunner by a long shot, she's probably one of the least experienced in the whole competition so most of her runs are clunky to say the least. but the girl can fly and she knows how to make use of that, so she was able to catch a beast of a player in serrin

Oh man the match that I had been waiting for 🤩 and it didn't disappoint. Mark vs Sarin is what I wanted to see and gotta admit the patience and intelligence of that man is amazing 🙌. Frank vs Eric was like idk what was I watching, that was insane. 2 amazing athletes doing what they do at the highest order 🔥. Also kudos to Ethan for that last tag and Ashlee for surprising everyone with that Sarin tag. So excited to see APK Grey in the semis and that too against Apex or Ollo 🔥🔥

I waited all weekend for this and it did not disappoint. Pure awesomeness, the duke from Matthew, the dive from Ashley, running on the outside of the mountain, the sudden death insta tag from Ethan. I love this sport. (got to say when it began I wasnt a big fan of Ethan, but now I am). 🤘

Holding Mark to one evasion during regulation was great for APK Blue, but I don't understand how Mark, Frank, or Ethan ended up on the JV team. Those three all have an argument for top 5 or 7 or so in the tournament Incredibly clutch tag by Ashlee. After not having many standout performances so far, comes through when it matters to tag one of Blue's best members. Absolutely love to see it. Then the Big Three cleans up, with Frank getting the clutch evasion, Ethan tagging in what felt like record time, and Mark doing what he does to get the "upset." Great match from two great teams.

If I'm not mistaken, Ashlee doesn't have much tag experience. I think the Sarin tag shows the potential she has once she gets some experience. After diving at 6:41 she had a pretty nice recovery. She has the tools. She just needs find the best ways through the obstacles and to learn the best angles to take.
Ya, I wouldn't be too surprised to see her and Jay have very similar stats. They both seems equally lost at times but I suspect Jay has more parkour experience and Ashley is more willing to lay out.
Statically she ranks middle of the team, A lot of people underestimate her and think she's the weakest link when she's not. With more time on the quad she could be a VERY good athlete!

Congrats on Ashlee on the surprise of the game, though her matches are a bit weird to look, it's like she's has a random switch on with some of the time- trouble judging depth? Don't take it the wrong way but perhaps it could be an eye issue? Best of luck though!

APK Grey has showed unique teamwork. In this time Mark wasn’t the only man who win the match for APK Grey. Everyone was wonderful: Ashley who tags the SARIN, Ethan who won important rounds, Frank who blocked superfast Airic, unstoppable Mark, of course, and even Wenxin who usually is useless. This is the first game at this season where every teammate was really cool. Sorry for my bad English
