  • I’m 70 and at the age of 16 Saucerful of Secrets was my introduction the wonderful world of psychedelia. Those first albums were the Pink Floyd I’ve loved ever since. Can’t say anything after Meddle has moved me in the same way.

    • As far as complete albums being cohesive movements I would agree, however, there are very valuable gems on Animals, The Wall, and The Dark Side of the Moon.

    • It ended at Meddle, agree. After that they were an interesting progressive rock band for the masses. The spook was drained out.

    • Tons of great stuff after, but yeah, Meddle was a great album and high point for me too. Dark Side was just too over produced. I had a run with listening to Animals. Thought the Wall was way too depressing.
