I’m rooting for Rekkles to win CL although seems like Guwon and Dal want to continue running it down. Edit: When T1 go back to MSI and Worlds, I want them to take Rekkles as a back up Support, so he can lift either with T1.
I have some hope for Dal improving since he's usually really good in soloq. IDK about guwon though. They're all super young so they might be able to improve for summer.
For me, it would not matter if they are losing or winning games. The important thing is that they get experience and improve.
Korean LCK dont do foreign players (except for 1 time bbq olivers used to have a foreign player) so no Rekkles in T1 LCK

As a Mad Lions Fan from outside of Europe myself i find great joy in seeing how Korea views the team. the standard in EU is to just flame them but i think Korea can see a player like Elyoya.

Because west likes to gather all the super stars in a one team. LCS and LEC likes to recycle the best players to compete, and leave rookies to be the punching bags to them, just like Rekkles said the super team won't grow because their is no competition. Now easterns are copying the strat but Peyz and Zeus prove that rookies can step up.

Deft treated him like a human, unlike most people in this scene were unable to. I have so much empathy for Rekkles, there is so much pain in him. He just wants genuine connections.
Despite everybody hating rekkles or looking down on rekkles, i hope that with him going to korea, will add another experience and knowledge to his style. and with that he could be the world champ just like deft who went to China and came back to Korea then won the worlds.

That era of fanatic was probably one of the peaks of EU aside from the G2 superteam can’t believe that was so long ago
God I hope we actually get to see Rekkles on a full LCK team next year. I think hes playing well enough, and will continue to play well enough through the rest of the year, that whether or not hes capable of it wont really be a question. Whether or not a team will pick him up is the real question. Maybe T1 get an MSI or another Worlds win and the roster really cant stay together again, Keria gets a high price somewhere else, and T1 moves Rekkles up. Probably more likely one of the bottom 5 teams offers a slot. Maybe KDF or FOX, who seem a bit more internationally media savvy.

Not a fan of LEC tbh. When I saw the news that Rekkles was playing for T1 academy, I started rooting for him and I wish him success in LCK. Fighting Rekkles!

He doesn’t speak much in-game at all at the moment based on comms released. The others seem to understand a bit of English so he is able to communicate with them outside the game. But since calls are more instinctive, the other 4 use Korean calls so Rekkles just needs to start understanding those as well as the short names for champs and objectives in Kr. The difficulty is probably they all speak at once and repeat the same call x 10 in a row (plus the pronunciation) which can confuse him 😅 but i feel like he’ll be fine by mid year
From his interview after they beat DRX, Rekkles says that Smash has pretty conversational English, and Rekkles is also really putting in effort to learn Korean.
imagine asian league is a real thing. all asian team get together as one league. korea, china, taiwan, Vietnam, japan and so on. It will be so cool. confirm the view count super high. and not only that. it will bring out the league competitive so much higher. And this esport will never be always lck and lpl. Now it too separative. LCK and LPL just a better league. But tbh this idea is too much lolll. in reality it too difficult. But LCK should at least have a idea of having imports of vietnam or japan or taiwanese players to the league.
PCS and LPL are good choices to import into LCK. But not for VCS or former LJL. Japanese sucks at League and the Vietnamese cant speak Korean or English to communicate
