    • I think he means the backstory behind this song. Obviously is doesn't matter when you started listening to them but theres a song commentary on Spotify of Tyler talking about this song and he said it was inspired off of a group of fans he spoke to way back in the beginning that felt inclined to tell him really personal things about themselves. He doesn't delve too deep into it but it highly suggests these kids told him how he saved their lives and he said thats where the inspiration for this song came from. Its meant for everyone but the inspiration behind the song is powerful

  • twenty one pilots is the only modern band I adore. First of all, they wrote all of their musics by themselves, no ghostwriter bs. Second, they always put on good show wherever they go, no lipsync bullshit, just straight up 100% maximum peformance with some unexpected act and their stage presence is huge. Tyler always know how to interact and hype up the crowds. Third, their music genres are variable from alt-hip hop, pop, rock, reggae, indie, rap, psychedelic etc. They cover almost everything. Fourth, their musics are good, they know how to make catchy and headbanging music. Fifth, the lyrics. I don't even need to explain this

  • I've never told anyone about anything I feel so I'm gonna do it here for no reason. I seem like one of those super confident loud funny drama kids when I'm around other people but in reality my self esteem is about as low as it could possibly be. I care about what other people think way too much but generally it's true anyway. The thing is I don't really have any real issues, I'm not depressed, I don't have anxiety and although I do have suicidal thoughts I know I could never go through with it. My self harm is limited to punching brick walls hitting and biting myself and using salt and ice to burn, as I'm too weak willed to go through with anything else. Most of the time I'm fine- ish but sometimes I just think on how much I hate myself and fall into a spiral of depression. I sometimes wish I could be diagnosed with something just to have an excuse for my self hatred. I don't deserve to be pitied by anyone as there is nothing really wrong with me and I know most people have it much worse. Anyway I just wanted to say it in full for once so just ignore this comment

And just remember if everyone thought someone had it worse wouldn't that just be one person in the world who had it worse then everybody else? And if that one person had it worse then everyone in the whole world they aren't the only one 'allowed' to speak about it, everyone and everything thing is valid enough to tell someone even if you are not diagnost with depression or something else doesn't mean you aren't feeling the way you're feel.   • it's january 2022 and im watching their live performances which is making me feel really conflicted, i love them but it makes me so sad that it will probably be like two years or so until i'll see them again. i first saw them in october 2016, then in february 2019 so in a few weeks it's gonna be a full three years since my last show. i miss them so much. i miss the energy, i miss screaming along to the lyrics with people who know what they're singing about, i miss all the feelings.

  • I really hope I can go to a concert of theirs one day . They've pulled me back up to the surface so many times, I wish I could thank both Tyler and Josh in person. They have had such an impact on my life and honestly, I don't know what I would do without them and the clique. Stay alive everyone l-/

  • The moment he steps on to the platform on the second verse forward is indescribably amazing to me. The sheer energy in that whole section is palpable. If they would have performed the song in its entirety this performance would have been GOAT among their already amazing live recordings.
