What is the Strong Europe Tank Challenge?
The Strong Europe Tank Challenge is a training event designed to give participating nations a dynamic, productive and fun environment in which to foster military partnerships, form Soldier-level relationships, and share tactics, techniques and procedures.
The challenge consists of competitive events including a tactical driving course; a call for fire; a small arms shoot; a simulated chemical attack and recover; a simulated medical evacuation; a physical challenge; and offensive, defensive and degraded live-fire operations.

Germany still has the image of a "powerful armament industry and army" despite having the worst materiel availability in Europe and because Rheinmetall is a private industry still performing. How and the UAE uses Leclerc with better results than abrams in the same conflict

*MTU V12* with *47,6 l (almost 2850 cui)* and *1.500 Ps / hp,* and the top speed is - depending on the surface - up to 90 km/h (~ 55 mph)... The newest Leo is the Leopard 2 *A7 V.* All these comments make me - a German - smile, and yes, the engine of the "Leo" (so-called by the soldiers) sounds impressive. The really *only* German engine that sounds even better than an American V8... ✌😁👍 But the Abrams gas turbine sound is hardly less impressive - and it´s the *only* tank with such a drive. I wish you all a merry Christmas,🎅and a happy new year! 🎆🎉🎊

@@madrooky1398 depends on what you mean. The MBT70 program taught us that Germany and the U.S. have different expectations for a tank. The Abrams however is an XM1 Chrysler design not an MBT70 like the Leo.

@@thebikemike Soweit wird da nicht gedacht. Die Technik ist schon sehr beindruckend und vermittelt Kleingeistern eine Art Stärke und gesteigertes Selbstwertgefühl. Wofür es diese Kriegsmaschinen gibt und was damit angerichtet werden kann, soweit kommen die meisten geistig gar nicht. Krieg ist niemals schön, sondern die hässlichste Sache die es auf Erden gibt. Ausgenommen vieleicht die Zerstörung der Erde durch menschliche Umweltverschmutzung. Dies kommt vieleicht noch nah ran, in Sachen Hässlichkeit.

@@TheKenji2221oui c'est un problème récurent en Europe, plutôt que de faire de montreuse économie on fait chacun sont char, et comme il coût trop cher on n'en fabrique que 250 quand les états unies en fabrique 10 000. On à le même problème pour les portes avions, on pourrait avoir 7 portes avions CATOBAR nucléaire en Europe mais à condition de mettre nos moyens en commun. je fait long car je suis énervé de cette situation,on pourrait être une super puissance ensemble.

@@gregutdmglaucos3757 tu ne dis que de la merde, les seuls projets militaires en commun ont tous été un échec total et il suffit de voir l'eurofighter pour le comprendre, avion que même les pays qui ont participé au programme n'ont pas voulu acheter pour au final se tourner vers du matériel américain. Il n'y a pas d'europe, il n'y a que la France et rien d'autre et ce n'est pas pour des raisons économiques qu'on ne fait pas de volume mais uniquement par idéologie délirante des politiques français, on dépense des centaines de milliards en social et pour l'immigration ( RSA, APL, ASS, AME... ) on pourrait se payer 2 portes avions nucléaires juste avec le budget de l'AME sur 5 ans.
Mir egal welcher Panzer der „beste“ ist. Hier sind 4 der besten Modelle vereint und alle gehören der „selben Seite“ an. Vereint ist das eine enorme Militärmacht und Kampfkraft. Zusätzlich gestärkt durch die enorme Wirtschaftsmacht der einzelnen Verbündeten. 👍🏻

@@Future183 French are the alone to have adopted a specific oleopneumatic suspension which give a far better accuracy and precision of firing at high speed than the 3 others... that explains partly his price. French opted on speed and firing atspeed but have a lower armour than the 3 other.s... The choices are different. The 4 of them all together are an incredible force to break through (by Leo II and Abrahms), to fix ennemies (Challenger) and to flank and attack the rear by the french speed. The T90 which is therussian MBT is more numerous but not enough to stop all the NATO tanks as the ratio of losses would be something like 10+ T90 for a single NATO tank. Former AMX 30 B 2nd to tank platoon leader here, I have been also trained on Leclerc in the 90's and I served several years in germany, in the French forces based there till 2001. All the NATO Tanks have different skills, but in the precision by firing at full speed, none are able to match the Leclerc. I did many exercices with the 1st US armoured cavalry brigade of Ramstein/Bitburg/Spangdhalem (and was exckanged NCO in this unit for several month there, worked also with germans, belgians, canadians and british too), and I just bring here my experience I have shared with NATO other NCO's. The advantage of the NATO military men is that we don't do "politics", our gov may have different agendas, but military men on the field know that we were all counting on our allies and had total confidence in each other. Kudos to my ancient borthers of the NATO forces, whatever their nationalities. 30 years of service, still in race, now Master Sergeant inf rench gendarmerie, twice injuried (a NDE, clincial death), no regret.

all the tanks here are great, LeClerc Modern techno auto loader, Abrams jet engine, great tank, Leopard great gun maneuverability, Chally great armor needs upgrades...but when driven properly like the brits do its a great allrounder.

I spent a lot of time at this training area back from 1985 thru 1989 when we first flied the M1 Abrams 1/33 armor first men of war.
Leclerc is great but most expensive... I love Challenger 2 the most but also Leopard is great piece of armor ;)

@@apex_blue Not any more. The german Leo shown is the Leo 2A6 with the longer barreled L52 gun (and new ammo).The US gun is a USA produced licence version of the original L44 lenght gun

Canon of Leclerc is most efficace France. Léopard 2= 120mm L/44 and munitions technologie is 2008 Leclerc= 120 mm L/52 autolodeur. And munitions technologie is 2022
I'm British but the Leopard designer had a sharper pencil. They had the best looking tanks in the late 30's early 40's and still do today. Vorsprung durch technik I guess...

In Chile we have in our army. LEO 2A4 CH. and is a beautiful and excelent tank. Also we are modifying our LEO A1B. as a platform. for our new Missile system made in Chile. Chüss.

Noticed how the Germans are pulling the tank in reverse with the puller, while french use the rear of the puller and go forward and don't struggle manoeuvring out! Smart operators. Also I'm glad the Leclerc is not crushing a car because if this is criteria for efficiency then we have a problem. Lastly all those tanks are probably close, i don't think 1 stands out drastically, tactics, numbers and well trained crews make the difference.
well bc if there is still a posiblity of enemy fire you certainly dont want to turn your rear towards it... a single 20 or 30mm APDS could destroy the engine or transmission of the tank recovering the ones that is dissabled in that scenario.

Abrams jest w tej chwili najlepszym czołgiem sprawdzonym w boju. Składowanie pocisków w tym czołgu jest wzorcowe. Jest najbezpieczniejszym czołgiem dla załogi z najlepszym pancerzem. Silnik jest najlżejszy co pozwala zaoszczędzoną masę wykorzystać na lepszy pancerz. Silnik może pracować niemal na każdym paliwie. Po wprowadzeniu bezzałogowej wierzy będzie jeszcze lepszy i groźniejszy.

All of them have qualities, but each must be used in a specific tactic. The Leclerc is the least armored but the fastest and the most maneuverable. - It is able to shoot on target and automatically reload at full speed. - Its cannon can break through any existing armor. If you see it coming to you, it is already too late. In addition, it is the most beautiful ... 🤣🤣🤣 Leclerc wins!
so how much does it penetrate with the used nato rounds? and its about 9 kph slower than the leopard...its also unlikely to be able to penetrate the front and the front side armor of the leopard 2a5 and upwards. the autoloading is a bit below 8 seconds for one round. so nothing to good in that area
@@lordgammadonkaargon2830 wrong, the Leclerc is actually faster than the leopard off road (50km/h against 45km/h) which is the most current situation in combat. The leopard's top speed is barely even better than the leclerc's on road, (71km/h leclerc / 68 to 72km/h for leopard) moreover, the leclerc has a greater mass power, 27.5 vs. 27.1 and a better acceleration, and a mich more stable cannon, and a longer one allowing better penetration and precision. In addition, the reloading time is closer to 6 seconds.

Those exercises clearly showed that the Challenger 2 is the best at... - passing through civilian cars!!! xD It crush them like they were toys! xD
The other thing is that the challenger has never been destroyed by anything other than another challenger (and that was a ‘friendly fire’ incident when the challenger had its hatch open). One was hit by 14 RPGs and an anti tank missile in Iraq, it’s crew were fine, another survived 70 RPG hits. Its Chobham and Dorchester armour was so good that it’s been sold to the US and they use it on their M1 Abrams tanks.
@@paulm2467 Yes I know this, and the story from Iraq how the Chellenger 2 survived repeated fire from RPGs and generally that it is one of the best tanks in the world. In any case, I don't take away from him this rightly deserved title. :) My comment was just humorous about these exercises - because the fact is that Chellenger was the best at running over a car! :D

@@paulm2467 well today was announced that 4x Challengers 2 will be send to Ukraine immediately (idk what immediately means but I hope it means after they trained on them) and another 12 later. Well I would not say the Russian Tanks are bad (it all comes down to the crew and how well other units support them) I'm pretty sure we will see destroyed or captured western tanks. Since they are not made for this kind of Combat. We will see

@@blechkopf3642 it is not, the Leo uses the L55 while the Abrahams uses the L44, both by Rheinmetall but the L44 is the previous version used by the Leo until version 2A5 or 2A6 I am not sure

Of course I like our Abrams but……each tank looks like it might out shine the others in a different situation. They all look and sound great although I think the French seemed to be the most quiet. This is probably a good thing, no this IS a good thing!
