ah, dang, i was just about to mention it, since i could read the writing on his torso but you already did a great job researching it but the translation is quite clunky and in places not accurate at all. in german the second line is "die sich über die Dinge ziehen", which literally translates into " that/which extend over the things". the tower isn't primordial, it's ancient. the nuance concerning the song is missing entirely. it's not just a song of some sort. since Rilke was very religious, he's referring to a hymn or a chant. I live my life in expanding circles, that extend over the things. I might not accomplish the last but try i will. I circle around god, around the ancient tower, and i'm circling for millennia; and i do not know yet : am i a falcon, a storm or a great chant*

I still have chills all over my body with this MV. The way he was looking at the camera with those siren eyes, the way he walk away, the way he said "yeah" and "set me freeeeee" felt like heaven, the concept, the color, the sound, the beat, everything in this MV smell BOP 🔥🔥🔥💜💜💜 I love him so much. on jimin's tattoos: jimin's nevermind tattoo on his rib and the moon tattoo on his back are both his real tattoos, he also has 13 on his inner wrist and 'young' & 'forever' above his elbows, also 7 tattooed on his finger (bts' friendship tattoo, all the members have 7 tattooed). it's cool that he kinda used his moon tattoo as an artistic last shot in the video!

Hello dear human! I did not see it until you mentioned it. Why the scene at the end, when Jimin is being lifted seemed so familiar. It is indeed very reminiscent of John Constantine "visit" to hell to find whether the twin sister was really there. That scene is truly epic, all those demons trying to pull him back. To this day, my most favorite movie, that I keep re-watching every few years and still discover new things. In Jimin's case, now it seems that instead of pulling him down, his demons are lifting him up. What is that saying: if you cannot fight your demons, befriend them? Amazing reaction and I just like your enthusiasm and insights. Have a lovely day ahead! Take care :)

i think some parts of his lyrics is like His fighting back against his hater😁 part of the choreo ,when he said they mocking me .. 4 corner of him ,dancers are pointing at him, i felt like its his hater. and im kinda felt happy , jimin starting to slap his haters, through his talent and creactivity/artistry ..They CANNOT stop Jimin.

Jimin is simply a genius. When he says "I won't stop even if they mock me", you can see the dancers pointing at him, judging him, referring to how people perceive him and the narratives they constantly impose or project on him and him basically saying no matter what you say, I'll keep shining. "Fly away, butterfly Finally free" He is ready to fly. The butterfly lyric mirrored in this effortlessly smooth and sexy move and the fact that he is flanked by two female dancers here just accentuates his appeal. He is lifted up by the throng and here people have noted the parallels to Lie and it is calming to think that Set Me Free Pt 2 resolves and brings closure to the emotions that inspired that song. In an interview Jimin explained: "I tried to express the grand scale of the song and [the ideas of] determination, passion, and overcoming. “Set me free” means setting myself free, so I thought it was important that I be the one to set myself free - not someone else. In the end, I’m the one who has to set myself free. I would say the song has the energy of a light in the darkness. I wanted to express that kind of picture everyone has in their head - a ray of light coming into the darkness is the only thing you can see. If I had to say specific colors, I’d say black and white." Wow u never fail to impress me with your analysis. The way you talked about the details of the song and the choreography really made me admire you more as a content creator. I’ve seen ppl complain about the autotune n just focused on that but failed to realize that the autotune is an artistic choice n your explanation of the vocal processing is just perfect n explained it so well.
