2011 Kia Sorento, slow acceleration and seeming lack of power, in auto shift has trouble shifting but manual/sport mode will shift but still lacks acceleration. No check engine light, compression, fuel pressure all checked out, everything pointed to bad torque converter, pulled transmission and put in new torque converter, also changed wire harness because I had read that was a problem with these, did not change pump which may have been a mistake but it wasn't making any noise so left it, got it all back together and took it out, same problem, looks like I have to pull transmission again, would a bad speed sensor cause problems or bad pump, my experience in past is if pump goes bad it makes a lot of noise and this is not ? Trying to see if something might fix it without having to pull transmission again.

Before you replace the solenoid pllease check the filter..and replace it..line preseure and tcc will suffer more if the filter is clogs..

Question, I have a 06 kia sorento manual and when I apply gas, rpm shoots up like hitting an ice patch. Sometimes will rumble. Any advice would be most appreciated ty. Your clips have saved many of my vehicles but manual in new territory. Ty

I got a Acura TL 2005 and have a check engine light for code p0757 shift solenoid b stuck on I replaced the shift b solenoid and changed the filter and transmission fluid but the code came back on for the same thing now my car won't shift pass thirds gear and the rpm just rev high

Can also be caused by bad / corroded system ground wires, bad transmission input / output sensors, also known as speed sensors or pulse generators or a bad trans temp sensor.

Volvo iShift transmission on semi. Solenoid operated by air I think. So what could cause it to fail? The symptoms you described are identical to what I’m experiencing.
I have a 2018 rogue. I was having transmission shift issues. It was diagnosed as solenoid issue (at the dealership) , but they are recommending to change the entire shift assembly. Is that a valid suggestion or should i go to a local shop and simple get the solenoid changed?
