A GIANT tattoo memorialising the fallen dogs of Dark Dynasty K9s is officially underway. Legendary pitbull and son of the Hulk, Kong, passed away from Lymphoma in 2021 and the DDK ranch hasn't been the same since. Owner Marlon said: "Although I've lost a lot of legends over the years, when Kong died it was just out of the blue. When I think about Kong in-depth there's still a lot of pure sadness that doesn't have anywhere to go. It's hard to describe the connection I had with him. He was like the heart of DDK." But Kong isn't the only iconic dog to have been lost in recent years. Marlon and family also said goodbye to Hulk's grandfather and DDK mascot, General, back in 2019. In memory of his fallen soldiers, Marlon has started work on a huge memorial back tattoo, starting with a faithful recreation of General himself. The DDK co-founder travelled to Xclusive Ink in Connecticut to get the process underway. He said: "The plan is to just have a mural of fallen legends on my back. I'm willing to use my entire back for it." In the meantime, DDK is enjoying Kong's legacy by raising his final litter of puppies. Raiden, Kong's son, is showing promise as Marlon's next superstar protection dog, while another of Kong's sons, Vinnie, became a favourite of Co-founder, Lisa. She said: "We didn't plan on keeping any of these puppies but given it was Kong's last litter and how special he was to all of us, we each gravitated towards a different puppy."

It's not natural though. Corporations & relevant bodies of authority cause this if you really think about it, from sh*t like PCB oil in the environment to god-knows-what in animal AND human food. The meat you get in the store is pure poison. This doesn't change what you said, but I wrote it to rationalize it and explain that this is absolutely not how nature intended lives to end and that with some serious knowledge, it is certainly possible to avoid this horrible desease. There are indeed some potential natural causes of it, which depends on the species, but it's extremely rare. Hell, some animals literally can't get it at all. I don't know anything about Kong, rip, so I have no comments on that, but at least he lived such a great life & by grace of god lived just long enough to see his last offspring, it's kind of crazy to be honest how that timing was.
Kong passed away a while ago but beastly hasn't done any episodes about him. It was awful. Kong was amazing. Never seen a dog smile like him. Such a big heart and soul he had. R.I.P. baby boy.
Marlon hv several vlogs on Kong including when he took him to chemo for the first time and the VET lost him he was missing for almost 2days Marlon found him of course,but it's a real tear jerker, just put in your search bar "DDK9 when Kong was lost when he went for chemo"prepare to cry ,hope this help
The fact that Kong's death was so hard for Marlon to talk about, proves just how much he loves his pitbulls.
Don’t get me wrong I think he loves his dogs unconditionally but most of those tears are from how much money he could’ve made off that dog

When Kong died; both my Mom and I cried...he was that special. We love Hulk, but Kong and Stella's smiles were was got into our hearts. I pray Hulk and Kong's pups you have kept will live long lives!

My part-pitt girl passed from the canine equivalent of lung cancer years ago. I haven't owned a dog since. It was so hard watching my companion of 12 years suffer. Here's to hoping all dogs go to heaven. RIP Kong

Marlon I am so so sorry. I lost my king 2years ago and I still spend time daily at his grave. You gave these beautiful dogs an awesome life my friend. I was diagnosed with lymphoma last October myself. Prayers to you and your beautiful family
I loved Kong since the news of his birth was announced.. it pains me like the loss my own dog. You guys have ti build a memorial on your property so people like me who loved him from afar and thought of them as our own dog can come and visit and pay respect. #lovekong

The loss of these dogs is heartbreaking. Even more sadder when you built that bond with them over the years as they age and get older, eventually getting sick with something. My cousin lost her Husky last year on Christmas morning from a stomach twist. Unable to rush to the vet sadly and he was in a lot of pain, couldn't move and was trying to vomit or defecate. It was heartbreaking and he eventually passed. You try so much for them to stay with you as long as you can until its their time to say good-bye.
Loved Kong, he was my favourite of all the DDK dogs, rest in peace big man 🙏

Sorry for the loss. Keep raising legends...I just recently got my first female(I've always had males). She's a beautiful blue and a good companion, a great dog. Very loving and playful and very protective when she senses danger. She can be a little stubborn but she is just 11 months August 20 she will be a year. I like how you show both sides. The family and loving side of your dogs but also the protective side and the training for different fields of duty. I am hoping to soon have mine registered as a service dog for my PTSD. Keep doing what you do you always have beautiful and well raised and trained dogs. Much love

I loved kong , and hulk and sad both passed away I remember I used to watch DK a lot because I love Pitbulls and really want one in the future . DK and kong inspired me to keep talking about Pitbulls because they usually get a lot of hate because they consider than a “dangerous breed “ but it’s not the dog’s problem the actual problem is the owner on how you treat and train the dog . Loved seeing you grow kong unto a strong , incredible sensitive dog getting so much love from your family . I’m so sorry you had cancer but I know that you are in s good place . GOD bless you and the entire Fam brother...unfortunately been there myself and never gets easier...they make our lives so much better and its so unfair their lives are so short. Ive been following u for a couple years now, i always found you to be one of the rare types of breeders who actually have a soul. I lost my 20 year old dog in january and totally relate to your pain. Not everyone knows the special bond you can have with dogs. Its incredible that we can have such relationships with another species. Keep ur head up man

I'm so sorry for you and your family's loss I can feel what you're going through I lost my two Great Danes 8 months apart last year. I grew up with dogs and have always loved having them a part of our family they bring unconditional love that cannot be copied. My oldest Great Dane that died first found my cancer and saved my life its have been 4 years and I still think about them each day.. I thought about contacting you about your puppies because you truly know how to breed and train dogs as I have never seen and I was wanting a dog to be a companion and emotional support dog for me. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Man I had this same feeling when my cat died. It happened so suddenly and it didn’t feel real, but when reality hit it was the worst thing that happened to me emotionally. I hope you all pull through this!

I remember when I first came across your videos with King Kong. He was a great canine. I know how it feels to lose Pitbull fur babies. I've lost a couple as well. They lived a good long life though; the father at 13 y/o and we keep one of the pups who passed away at 15 y/o🐾🐾. Great imagery done by the tattoo artist. Sending made love to all of you💞💞.

My dog recently past away about a month ago and let me tell yu this video made me ball in tears because i know first hand that pain of losing a furry family member. I have a new buddy, but my last guy was my always so stoic, my unshakeable Wingman for nearly 15 years. He got me through so much sh*t. They never will leave our Hearts. Watching this in tears in 2022 (in Manila). I didn't know Kong has crossed the rainbow bridge. It must been so hard for the family. I can relate because I had one that was taken by cancer in 2021 too. I didn't know at that time that yearly blood work could save my love. I still feel guilty.
