To those who have ever knocked AMF built Harley Davidsons.... Be rest assured that everything on this bike is made with the least costly materials possible and the lowest quality build standards known to humankind, including the frame and "swingarm." The only safe engine to swap on it would be made by Briggs and Stratton, if even that.
I cannot believe this is a 20-minute video and you didn't even ride it
Hes probably gna make another video riding and stuff. More videos = more money = more badass Amazon bikes lol

I rarely do this but this earned this video a thumb down. going to go watch some bearded mechanic videos now.
as someone who drives a truck and worked in a automotive production line. i can tell you why that battery is taped to the top of the box is because of how roughly that crate will get treated. if it were on the bottom it would be at increased risk of getting hit by some forklift forks. or other such hazard while being moved around or having things moved around it.
Exactly what I came to comment.
Also, in case of some mild flooding it might short out? Especially overseas, idk if that prevents stuff as well
@@chrissi.enbyYTshort out what? There was no fluid in it.
@@johnnunn8688 yes. But its gonna be transported on a big ship. I would strap the battery to the top as well, incase some water crashes over the side. Car shipping ships have burned down a bunch of times by now
Less likely to be skewered by a forklift

You should turn this into your own orange county chopper

It would be more reliable.

You mean "Orange Chinese Choppers."
I've owned a virago 250 for 10 years. She was my first. Awesome little bike for begginers. Very reliable, light and docile. Made for a great every day commuter in the big city traffic (lane splitting is legal...ish here, tolerated). They used to be very common here in Brazil and, notoriously, have been cloned by more than one brand operating in the country. Nowadays you couldn't find someone willing to sell you theirs. People tend to get very attached to them and I totally get why. Good memories....😅
My first bike at 20 dumb years old was an '83 Virago 750. It did not end well....
@@courtney5796 My friend has the 535 but souped up, its kinda unreliable but when it runs it's a bullet.
This is a Frisco style chopper (children's size). They are built narrow (hence the weird location of the front blinkers and the narrow bars) for navigating the narrow and crowded streets of SFO.
The style emerged in the early 60's, and was not anything other than a style exercise. The streets were nowhere near crowed then, and the original Frisco style used a hand shift; not at all friendly to riding in traffic.
Using a hand shift wasn't a style, it's how all the harley's came, till during the 50's when they began putting "mouse trap" foot shift external linkage on them. Actually during the 50's & 60's, what was custom cool to do was put a custom "mouse trap" on the older bikes. You see, because at the time, the British bikes had foot shift and were winning the races, so custom Harley racers began building homemade "mousetrap's" for their bikes. Halfway through the panhead run, Harley caught on, and they began coming with an external "mouse trap" foot shift conversion set up. So anyway most young bikers couldn't afford a new Harley at the time, so many bikers just rode them old pans with the stock hand shift, or they put a smaller gas tank on it for looks and cut the hand shift down to a jockey shift. But, yea, hand shift was stock on the older ones, and building a custom "mouse trap" to convert the bike to a foot shift like the race bikes was the custom thing to do back in the 50's.
That's not "children's size", that's average, young, skinny Asian dude size. Also, didn't Frisco-style bikes have footpegs high set above the engine cases?
The chopper faze never fizzled out, the hipster found something else to do. Choppers live 24/7

Aw man, not the cliffhanger! haha Just stopping by to say thanks for the great content! My husband introduced me to your channel recently because I have started to become more interested in riding my own bike than ever before (I went for my first motorcycle ride on my 5th birthday in the 90s on my dad's 92 Heritage Softail Classic; now I've been told by my husband that he's forgotten I was on the back of his 2020 Street Bob several times xD). I have spent hours watching your videos and appreciate the informative and very entertaining content.
The frame looks like a clone of the 80's soft tail frame. Right down to the unused mid control mounts. The slip on looks to be $79 J&P Cycle pipes. Literally most of it is old school HD chopper parts with an undersized rice burner engine. Good luck Sean, you'll need it.

First of all i love the fake primary transmission! which is not even bolted down! Secondly, i went to Alibaba, just to get a kick out of it and there is one 'seller' who is selling obviously fake listing (the one that has the picture stolen form some other site and the super catchy title, like all the number and letters you can think of) but the best part, is the the minimum order quantity is one acre! Didn't know that you can sell motorcycle by the acre!
I love it how they show a pic of an ebike or something with a low price, the whole description is about the bike's features, then you get into the order process to just see what shipping would be and the price is for the battery only. Which is close to the price of some of the ebikes.
@@geekfreak618I ordered an air fuel ratio gauge from there and got an email that they received the order for my sticker, I called PayPal and was instantly refunded my money, I think PayPal knows about these type of scams...

Really awesome you're coming to louisiana, you're one of the reasons I bought my v star 1300. Really hoping I'm able to go.
Years ago I nearly bought a Lifan 250cc bike that was a direct Yamaha clone for under $3K. They had very good reviews and almost all of the parts from the Yamaha would fit. I just needed something for a daily driver that got decent fuel economy on my 78 mile daily commute, half interstate and half back country roads. For half of that price I got a used Suzuki 850 that only needed tires and a battery. You're braver than I am buying that stuff; I chickened out.
I've driven 2 lifan, and they're not complete garbage. Not high quality though.

Sean, you love talking about how great the F1 Moto Detailer cleans, but you never talk about how good it smells!! That stuff smells like heaven, I freakin love it! I am on my third bottle so far! Kids, don't drink it though, no drinky!
The lights and plate location is because they aren't sold with a real title, it's basically an MSO and the individual registers it or the dealer who imports them does. Basically it's sold to you as an off road vehicle and up to you to make it compliant for your state/country. The sissy bar IS a legal position for a plate in the US however. The D.O.T marked mirrors back that up, means the bike isn't type approved for the US market so it doesn't get registered before shipping to the US. As for the Sissy bar, it's simple and old school, fold a jacket or sit on the bare fender, it's not that bad and it's what was done back in the day. Pick up a girl at a bar and they fold their jacket or just deal. Now, I'd just get a magnetic pillion pad and throw it on when I needed one.
Always love your video's dude. You should go for the most expensive OCC bike for sale and compare lol, it would be interesting to see what the build quality is on that one lol

In my state (South Dakota I.E. Sturgis) motorcycles do not require turn signals. But if they have them on the bike, regardless of where they are located, they must work.

Hi there! I really dig your content, keep ‘em comin’! I just wanted to mention - I started riding in 2019 and have really been enjoying my experience on two wheels, since then. When I started looking for motorcycles, after completing my MSF course, I was really looking forward to purchasing a 600cc or above for a first bike, but did a bit of research and figured I should really learn the principles of riding on a smaller engine. So I ended up financing my very first Honda cb300r. Since then, I’ve had a Triumph Street Triple R, then I traded that in for a Triumph Speed Twin 1200 and then traded that in for a Kawasaki klx300 super moto. I kinda came around full circle (being back to a 300cc) all that to say that I really enjoy being on two wheels and enjoy riding all types. Point being, I’ve always had to finance a motorcycle through a dealership (and trade-in) and well, I’ve kind of come to the point where I don’t think I will want to continue doing that anymore. So I’m going to be saving up and try to pay cash for my dream bike - yes, you guessed it, a gsx-r 600. Anyway, I was wondering if you are doing any giveaways on a gsx-r, anytime down the road? Just curious. Anyway, I appreciate the time and effort you put into making your content. It’s entertaining, educational and honest. 👍
Makes me so happy to see new content drop! Keep em coming Sean!!

Visually...this looks like one of the best ones i have seen so far.
I actually think it's a pretty good looking bike, aside from details like how plastic it looks and the angle of the fork make it look like you've hit a wall. But still, pleasantly surprised! In Sweden, thin steel wire that you buy on a roll and that complete hacks hang up their exhaust systems and "fix" other mechanical issues with is called najtråd, "naj thread". So in our slang, to naja something is to half-assed throw something together with the least possible effort and no skills required. Fits in pretty well with some of the other things naja means in other languages! :D

Pretty hilarious unboxing! I'm actually surprised it started as easily as it did! Hope you checked the oil, btw. Probably the first thing you should change as well, if you're actually going to ride it anywhere.😉
Yep, I missed that too since most of those manufacturers only at best if they put any oil in them its a shipping oil that will tear up the engine and transmission pretty quickly if you run them on it. Even if it did have real motor oil in it after sitting since 2002 that oil would have separated over a decade ago and would need to be flushed out with a few fills and drainings of kerosene plus if it actually has an oil filter and not just an oil screen that filter has long been junk and also needs to be replaced. Any foam air filter or pre-filter after 22 years is also compost by now. Best!
@@neilfromclearwaterfl81it's 2 years old!!!
@@jcanfixall1585 Sorry, rock and roller here who worked with impact drivers and air hammers so sometimes I have trouble hearing Shaun clearly however when your talking Chineseum whether its their typical shipping oil or motor oil you still shouldn't start them on it and run them at all especially if they aren't from fresh stock manufactured in the past few months. We've learned that the hard way over the past 20 years dealing with their Honda, Yamaha and Minarelli Clone Engines. When working on then you also learn to go with the minimal torque specification for any fastener and use gasket sealant even where you normally would not due to poor quality metals used in the castings being prone to cracking. Best!
