  • I was in an abusive relationship, and left for the sake of my daughter, the pattern is the same. This woman is very brave, and definitely not lying.

  • 9 yrs of being a good girl then within 9 mths He is saying she is a studio vixen? it makes perfect sense now.... he cheated beat up the girl all in-front of their son at times, then when the girl decided she cannot take it anymore and leaves, he stalked her, then his paranoid mind made up lies about the girl and he tried to destroy her character. If anybody knows about psychology they would realize that these guys that behave this way all hv the same pattern. Thumbs UP girl make the world know what he really is.

SHE HASN'T EVEN REALIZED THAT SKATTA USE HER PAIN AND HEART ACHE TO FUCK HER, HOW COULD SHE FUCK HER AND HER EX FIANCE CO-WORKER??? SHE ALSO CONTRADICTING HER SELF DIDN'T SHE SAY HE TOOK CARE OF HER SO HOW COMES THE FRIDGE EMPTY??? SHE NOT TELLING THE ENTIRE TRUTH!!!!

    • David Jarrett she did not make him look bad.... she never tell him fi beat her and cheat on her.... u r saying she should have said nothing? she made him look bad becuz she talked about the injustice she was facing with him.... karma is a bitch. can't plant corn and expect to reap peas. you have men that preys on weak girls. thats y she fuck scatta... she not strong mentally and she is obviously a weak person to let foota abuse her so long. If a scatta a give her the courage fi lef foota and lik out on him it's a good thing. the songs he wrote lik the nail on the head and the truth hurts. better she do this than let some other girl fall in the same trap.

He bought BMW.. for hype..makes no sense..clear example of stubborn men who don't believe or love God.. from the moment she started to take her career seriously, he started to attack her...dam...I felt that..! I promised myself I would never leave unless I can take care of myself permanently afterwards, many times I attempted to leave and he started telling me how it have worse people than him out there..so in essence he is better than anyone I can end up with afterwards..I dont even want another man in my life.. I just want to leave and have success and be single because men out here who don't believe in God and who don't listen to their women are inherently misguided and misinformed even by the Church as the only thing they preach is wives must be submissive to their husbands with no consideration for the women who the Bible spoke of who went against their husbands and was ordered to do so by God .....because their husbands ego was more important than their marriage and the people of the community

Young girls in this type of situation end up in worse situations or dead. She is a very strong young woman and that fact that she is speaking out shows her strength. Keep your head up sista. She is speaking out of her heart, you can feel it. I feel her energy thru this.

No woman with ambition wants to sit and waste her life with a man who is going nowhere. As far as the cheating part and who did who or whomever that's none of my business. Those factors are why she ended staying through abuse. It is psychology 101. I am glad as she got the courage to leave Many dont leave. Girl. Big up to you!!!

  • Good girl for speaking up about domestic violence and good you found the courage to leave. I can tell it took a lot out of you to do this. Now i understand your song murderer."Bless" ya heart but take Lady Saws suggestion and do right by your son and both of you try to make peace for his sake.Rise above this pretty girl. Remember the "feelings" will heal, then you have to look back and deal with what you said. It takes two hands to clap...And so what if you even left him because he didnt eat under the table lol..Sounds legit to me..Money cant replace that....cough...

  • Wow!!! I just ran across this "on stage" interview with foota and ishawna and I think it's sad but true. I am proud of how Ishawna found a way to honestly tell the public. In too many relationships today, people are being abused and not saying anything. This is wrong and the abuser who refuses to accept reality of the situation will abuse again. Real relationships are not about control, abuse or infidelity rather commitment, honesty, truth and solidarity. Learn to appreciate what you have at home, while you still have it by showing love....it's not always greener. Stay safe...........

  • Omg these women dont notice the pattern of a dysfunctional relationship. many women in Jamaica are in relationships like these. i know its hard when we love some one but examples need to be set for the children. if he doesnt appreciate u, you'll have to find better. shes a nice looking girl, she can find someone who will respect her and NOT be abusive

  • I respect her so much. Not a lot of women can admit that they are being abused. Not a lot of women come out as survivors in these situations. She took responsibility for not leaving when she should have and understands the long term implication this would have on her son. And she had the courage to leave and understood loosing everything to leave did not matter because life and safety was more important. I appreciate that she shared her story and maybe it will help someone else. Pay it forward.

    • In Jamaica you have to go to court, they will give you a date (mine was like one week later which is a long time when you're feeling threatened). Then everybody comes to court the same time just to wait pretty much all day to get through. Then they interview you for at least two hours (they handwrite everything in a big book). Then if they think it's a plausible case you get a temporary protection order and a few weeks later they make you and your abuser come back to court at the same time to decide whether they will drop it or grant a temporary restraining order. So you actually have to be in the same small hallway with your abuser for hours before being questioned simultaneously 😩😩😩
